I’m reviewing these pretty late because there was some confusion with the order. Not bad confusion but good confusion! I did not buy these “new,” I bought them through Amazon, from the manufacturer, as “used.” They were supposed to take about a month and a half to get here, and there were supposed to be four bulbs. I received a package with six bulbs just a week or two later. I wasn’t even sure it was the same order. So I got a great price, more bulbs than I thought, and quicker than I thought. And these work great! I recently replaced some 12V garden lamps and transformers, and the new lamps are LEDs, but I have some old fixtures that I like and wanted to keep them in line with the new ones. However, the new transformer specified that it preferred LEDS and, also, LEDs use a lot lower voltage. So I ordered these to replace the older incandescent halogen 1056/1041 BA 15S bulbs. These are corncob type though enclosed in plastic so they are weather resistant, they fit the lamp socket perfectly, and they provide bright, warm yellow-white (incandescent color) light in the garden that was about the same shade as the old incandescent bulbs. The most difficult thing about these bulbs is removing them from their tight cardboard boxes! These are excellent replacement bulbs for this size of 12V garden lamps. ... show more

These are very good quality -- quite sufficient brightness for the relatively low amount of power they use. The color is meant to copy the color spectrum you would get from the original incandescent light. They do very well by maintaining their brightness over a long period of time: other brands would lose light intensity over a few hundred hours of use , but not these bulbs -- they will maintain the same amount of light over an incredibly long period of time. These were both a good fit and same or better brightness than the 18 watt ceiling lights I replaced in my RV. Pro, they have a plastic cover over the leds. I think this makes them less likely to melt the cover Con the cover is not frosted at all, so you can make out the leds Not known is how these will last. These seem well constructed, no flicker, nice warm color. Only thing to note is they are not brighter than an 1141. But there appearance is almost 100% the same. I could not tell the difference. Works great in my Trailers porch light.
