Extremely simple to put together, loved that it came with a ratchet Allen wrench also. Directions easy to follow. The wood looks nice, it has solid pieces, and is sturdy. Got this for a guest room and it does the job at a great price. Would like option with headboard but that was sold out. So far so good with mattress staying put, not sure how long the anti slip adhesive lasts. Highly recommend for a standard no fuss bed frame.

Recently, the Mellow Naturalista Classic 12 Inch Solid Wood Platform Bed was purchased to replace an old, squeaky metal frame and box spring. After reading several positive reviews, the purchase was made, and I am happy with it! Pros: Solid & Sturdy Construction: This bed frame is surprisingly solid and well-made, especially considering the affordable price. After several months of use, it feels sturdy with no wobbling or noise. It provides a great foundation, even with a heavy memory foam mattress. Easy Assembly: Assembling this bed is easy! The instructions were clear, all the necessary hardware was included and well-packaged, and a handy little ratchet wrench makes tightening the bolts much easier. It can be put together in under an hour. Attractive Design: The natural wood finish adds a warm and minimalist touch to the bedroom. It looks more expensive than it is. The hidden hardware gives it a clean, polished look. No Box Spring Needed: The wooden slats provide excellent support for the mattress, eliminating the need for a box spring. Quiet: This bed frame is virtually silent! No more creaks or squeaks when moving around at night. Cons: Potential Color Variation: the natural pine color appeared darker than the listing image. It's something to keep in mind. Slats May Not Be Suitable for Heavy people: the slats seemed thin and might not be strong enough for heavier individuals. I just received this today and have to say I am very impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. I am in my late 60's and put it together in less than 1 hour without help. Easy to follow instructions and wow it is solid! Not a bit of movement or wobble once all assembled. The mattress is pretty big and heavy not a squeak when we put it on the frame. I highly recommend this very simple but well designed /engineered bed frame.

Great quality, solid bed. I especially like the half lap joint legs that add to its durability. They thought of everything. From the Velcro strip to keep bed slats from moving, grip/felt bottoms for the legs to protect your floor, even included a ratcheting Allen key tool. Assembly was extremely easy. Bed is better than any ikea bed we’ve had and almost on par with our $1300 Thuma bed. Great quality, solid bed at a great price. Would buy again.

We were looking for the perfect bed frame to style up our new home, and this one from Mellow absolutely exceeded all our expectations. It's a 5-star product through and through. First off, it arrived so quickly, which was a huge plus. The best part was the assembly—I'm used to furniture being a hassle, but this was a dream. The instructions were clear and it was incredibly easy to put together. Once built, it looked fantastic. The finish is beautiful, and the frame is incredibly steady and completely silent. There are no cracking or squeaking sounds at all, which is a huge sign of good quality. It was the perfect piece to fit our new home's style. What really blew us away were the thoughtful details. There are velcro and non-slip straps that keep the mattress perfectly in place—a genius touch! Plus, the frame is high enough off the ground that our vacuum fits underneath easily, so there are no hard-to-reach dust bunnies. It's clear they thought about both assembly and long-term use. We are so incredibly happy with this purchase.
