I researched a lot of Gazebos before purchasing this one. I bought the wood look Gazebo, and it is beautiful once it is assembled, but I agree with several others on here about the instructions. You do learn some new curse words putting this together. It is a very sturdy Gazebo once it's completed. I was worried about the material and flimsiness of it, but I was very impressed with what we got. The only issues we really had was putting the roofing panels together and that was only because of having to put so many clips on each one, put each marked panel in its spot, and making them fit just so. The roof panels were probably the hardest to put together, but once finished it was so worth it!! We will be enjoying this thing all summer long! I did have to contact the manufacturer on an issue and the immediately got back with me and resolved the issue. I highly recommend this Gazebo! I installed this gazebo in March 2023 and overall, the installation process was smooth, except for the roofing part, which proved to be a bit tricky. My suggestion would be to leave some wiggle room when fastening the roof frame to make it easier to push the roof pieces into place. Despite this minor hiccup, I'm extremely satisfied with the product's build quality after a year of use. It has withstood high winds of up to 60 mph and weathered snow on several occasions. To ensure extra stability, I secured the base to Trex with a wood board, which has prevented any damage during extreme weather conditions. This is for the 12x24 gazebo so some of this may not apply to smaller models. Ours had nearly 1,000 fasteners. There were 440 of one type alone. Do not attempt to put this thing together with the L shaped wrenches they supply. Get a ratcheting screwdriver with hex bits. Or if you trust yourself to not overtighten, use a power tool. Read as many reviews as you can as there are a lot of tips to make the build go more smoothly. And plan for multiple days. When the directions say you need at least 5 people they are not kidding, however you don't need that many for the entire build. We did a number of the first steps ahead of time with just 2 people. This is mostly attaching brackets to the legs and cross beams. Then getting the frame and roof supports up is where many hands help. Placing the roof panels can easily be done with just 2 people. Also, once the frame is up, you are only half done. Placing and attaching all the roof panels easily took as much time as the rest of the build despite being only 3 of the 21 steps. When it comes to the roof panels, there is a lot more play than you would think. We had a number of panels where the 2 screw holes didn't line up very closely. Just get the screw through the top panel hole then through the bottom one and wrench it in to place. The holes in the panels are not threaded but if it's a tight enough fit you may have to screw them through those holes. Finally the spacers (part Y in our directions) that go under the panels where your screw through them. There are a handful that go on a bar that runs parallel to the raised portion you are sliding it in to. We used painters tape to hold those in place till we got the screw in. The roof panels are almost entirely the reason for the lost stars. They were very frustrating and took a lot of patience and excellent communication between the 2 of us to get them all in. At one point we were certain a panel was wrong and reached out to the seller via Amazon. They responded overnight and said to take pictures of all the panels that were wrong and they would replace them. When we went to take those pictures we realized our mistake and all the panels fit, but the fast response and willingness to replace parts makes me very happy we went with this option. All told we spent about 4 hours with 2 people prepping as many pieces as possible a few days before build day. Then we had 6 people for a solid 9 hours to assemble the frame and roof supports. Then 2 people spent a total of about 10 hours across a few weekday evenings putting up the roof panels. ... show more
