I bought this e scooter about 6 weeks ago primarily to cover the mile from the parking lot to my office and for quick errands. Honestly, it's been fantastic! The assembly was super easy – took maybe 10 minutes. The first charge took a while, but since then, the battery life has been solid. I get the advertised 28 miles easily on a single charge with my weight (180lbs) and using the mid-speed mode most of the time. The acceleration is smooth, and the max speed (around 20 mph) feels really fast and stable. The pneumatic tires really soak up bumps on our uneven sidewalks. Folding and carrying it onto the bus or into stores is a breeze. After daily use, it still looks and performs like new. The app is basic but works fine for checking battery and locking it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a really cool electric scooter with quick acceleration. My husband mainly uses it around the neighborhood, and the speed is easy to control and feels safe. The 10" wheels provide good stability, and it handles small bumps and uneven roads without any problem. The front suspension works well and adds to the comfort. One feature we really like is the smart app — you can check battery level and routes right from your phone, which is pretty cool. The scooter is also foldable, which makes it easy to store or take in the car. Overall, it offers great value for the price. If the top speed were just a little higher, it would be perfect. But honestly, for our needs, the current speed is more than enough.

I bought this for an early birthday present for my husband, I had no idea what I was going to getting. After looking at all other reviews for electric scooters this one had the best ratings even though there are few reviews, I will tell you that my husband absolutely loves it. I am not very good with tech stuff, but not only does it have blinkers and break lights it has an alarm on it, I don’t know much about it but my husband figured that out the other day. I sure hope the scooter stands up to my 5 star rating. Great scooter, it is definitely worth spending more and getting a great product.

I'm going to say right up front that I had a technical problem when I first set up the scooter (more below), and I'm still giving it Five Stars. It really is that good, and MegaWheels technical support was exceptional, providing quick responses to my questions, even during a holiday weekend. To begin with, the pneumatic wheels provide a smooth and even ride on pretty much any path or paved road. But it's the front suspension fork that really takes the sting out of bumps on uneven surfaces. If you're used to riding scooters with solid wheels and no suspension, this is a completely different experience, and far more comfortable. Construction quality is excellent, with a solid, sturdy feel in the frame and steering assembly. Steering is quick but stable, and it never feels twitchy at any speed. Built-in turn signals are easy to turn on and off, and the bright LEDs offer excellent visibility both day and night. Another simple but well designed feature is the location of the well-marked and easy to find charging port. Performance is excellent with the motor accelerating quickly and predictably all the way to its top speed of a little over 20 mph. Braking is good, in part because of the front wheel disc brake, but also because the scooter can be tuned to increase friction and recover energy from the rear wheel as you slow down. The mobile app is very good. There are certain options that can only be accessed through the mobile app, for example, the energy recovery settings that I just mentioned, as well as top speed preferences for each speed mode. The app will also keep a record of your rides and provide information about the battery and range. The first time I used the app, I noticed that there was a firmware update for the scooter, so I went ahead and did the upgrade, and that's where the technical problem occurred. After the update, I was unable to connect to the scooter for more than a few seconds without the Bluetooth connection dropping, and none of the scooter's technical information could be read or displayed. To be fair, the scooter was still completely functional but I could no longer fine tune its settings or record my rides. I contacted MegaWheels support by email and they quickly responded to my tech support request and continued to communicate with me even through the holiday. It turned out to be a problem with the mobile app and they pushed out an updated version that resolved the issue only a few days later. Since Installing the updated app, the scooter and the app both work flawlessly. Bottom line, this is by far the best electric scooter I've ever owned. Even with the initial technical hiccup, it has easily earned its spot at the top. If you're looking for a reasonably priced scooter for commuting or just zipping around the neighborhood, this would be the one I'd recommend. It is excellent all around.
