I got this to keep in my kitchen when my old radio broke, Great sound and the radio gets good reception. My favorite station is kinda far away but it comes in clearly. I plug in my MP3 player using the USB port and also play CDs often. I have always kept it plugged in so I can’t comment on battery life. It has blue tooth but I haven’t tried that either. It’s my kitchen stereo and I keep it there. It is lightweight and easy to move if needed. I would recommend this item, I love to listen to music while cooking, cleaning the house, sometimes just to relax and keep my house from feeling so empty when I’m alone(something my therapist recommended) This stereo has been on most days since I bought it over a year ago. It can be turned up pretty loud and fills my house with my favorite music and I am glad my old radio broke because this one is so much better. ... show more

The multi-functional aspect of the product is amazing. I love the features and look of the boombox. My only complaint would be the shaky audio quality. Overall, I would recommend this product.

I have no idea why people complain about the audio quality of this product. It may be because we're spoiled by streaming. However, this CD player is amazing! I went to CD because I didn't have any luck with vinyl. I was skeptical to buy this CD player because so many people complained about the audio quality but when I got it, I was blown away by the audio quality. It sounds exactly as a boombox should sound. This CD player cannot be compared to HomePod-kinda devices because it's not designed that way. It's just a CD player with a decent, in my opinion AMAZING, audio quality. If you're hesitant like me because of the reviews, don't pay attention to them and buy it now! I guess people just like complaining... ... show more

I have the little boombox sitting next to my desk in my home office. It's small and doesn't take up much space. The sound is good. It plays CDs and has a radio with an antenna. The detractors are: 1. it's hard to play with the little buttons to change the function from radio to CD player and, 2. it doesn't have a remote which I now miss. It's good for the price. I use the boombox exclusively to listen to audiobooks. The CD players in my last three boomboxes, more expensive than MEGATEK, have only lasted approximately three months. Hopefully the CD player in this one will last significantly longer; if not, I'll modify this review if I can figure out how to do so. The sound quality is good for audiobooks; it's easy to operate, even when I'm half asleep. BTW, I read many excellent reviews re. this product before ordering. So I've been using this for about 30 days now. I really like it. I use the 128GB Jump Drive to listen to music. While it has settings such as playing all files randomly I have found that even though I set it to play all files I have on the Jump Drive that sometimes it will randomly shut off for no reason. While this is annoying sometimes it doesn't do this there seems to be no rhythm or reason to it. Perhaps I am not setting it up correctly. The Boombox is not what I would call loud. It gets the job done well enough but if you like your music LOUD this might disappoint you. The CD player works pretty well. Because I sleep in the basement of my house the FM radio barely works. I'm sure if I was away from the cement it would work much better. Do not let the boombox fall on anything because the speakers are bare to the world nothing protective to keep them from getting damaged. Summary: While not a perfect boombox you can't beat it for the price and all in all you should be satisfied with this unit. Just don't expect this to blast the tunes because it's not really all that LOUD. If you realize this and accept that you should be plenty happy with this boombox.
