Very elegant beautiful lighting. Fits perfectly above my 76” long dining table that can sits up to 8. Installation takes about 2 hours and you need at least two people to do it but insctructions were clear and it’s worth it.

We love this chandelier! It completely transformed our room. This looks just like the RH version - but for literally one tenth of the price. Highly recommend. Our Install was a bit tricky because our ceiling is at an angle. See photo. We opted not to use the velvet chain covers, we felt it cheapened the look. This is my first time to purchase this chandelier. I was concerning about the quality and installation. Luckily it exceeded my expectations. It took us approximately two hours to finish the installation. My hubby did most of the work and I just assisted him to hang the crystals. Hanging the crystal was the most annoying part. You need a lot of patient to hang it. Of course hanging a chandelier definitely is a two-person job. Also strongly recommend using gloves (came with the package) when handling and hanging the crystals. Otherwise your finger prints will be all over the crystals. The package came with two damaged crystals, also I broke one of them while helping. Luckily there are extra piece including in the package. All the light bulbs work perfect. But my hubby put it on a dimmer which makes it even better. Overall it's great chandelier. If they have other styles, I would like to consider to buy it to my new house too. ... show more

    • Looks Great, But Could Be Improved

Once finished, this chandelier looks pretty great. But we did encounter some struggles. The first thing we noticed is that the plastic wrapping for the rectangular hood that goes over the electrical box had left permanent markings in the black finish. Either the plastic damages the paint, or it was wrapped in the plastic before it was completely dry. Fortunately, due to our ceiling height, we can't really see the defects from down below. However, we can see the silver bolts that hold the cover on--it would have been nice to have black headed bolts so that they would also disappear when viewed from below. The second thing we struggled with is actually hanging such an awkward assembly even with two people. The chain is made so that you can easily attach the main frame at the bottom with a "magic link" on both sides. But the electrical cord does not easily detach from the frame. It would be nice if it were possible to easily detach the cord as well so that the lower main frame could be attached as a last step or even detached in the future if need be. As it is, everything needs to be done from the top as a second person supports the weight from below. Attaching the individual crystals is a tedious process and we used additional gloves besides the one included in order to do that hour-long job for two people. We had one defective crystal and one light bulb that burned out within a second or two. But one extra light bulb was included and several extra crystals were included, so that helped a lot. It took me a long time to find this gorgeous chandelier because I couldn’t decide on a style and I’m so glad I did. They did an amazing job packing all the items. Not a thing was scratched or damaged. I appreciate that all light bulbs were included with one extra. Also, they packed extra crystals and “staples” that hold them. My husband attached the base to the ceiling when we found out that the wire was silver and I knew it would drive me crazy. So, we ordered a gold one from Amazon for $10. Once it arrived, my husband completed the installation and then I hung all the crystals which took me two hours :) it was easy just time consuming. I’m very happy with my choice and the price was reasonable. It’s worth every cent because the quality is awesome. ... show more

Except that it took about 3 hours for my $80/hr electrician to hang all the crystal glass, I am very pleased with this chandelier, especially that even from directly below it you cannot actually see the light bulbs owing to the horizontal crystal pieces that cover the bottom of the fixture. Most fixtures of this shape do not have this, and so from below you can see the bare lightbulbs on competitive fixtures. ... show more
