I’ve owned and used a number of radios over the years (including several Choyong products), and the CHOYONG LC100 has really impressed me. It combines traditional AM/FM and shortwave listening with internet radio in one very capable unit. The internet radio feature opens up stations from all over the world, while the shortwave receiver and SSB capability make it a great radio for someone who enjoys serious radio listening. The build quality is excellent, the sound is very good for a radio of this size, and the controls become easy to use once you spend a little time with it. I was also very impressed with the exceptionally long telescopic antenna, which is a huge plus for shortwave reception. If you connect this to a MLA-30 antenna, it will greatly improve SW reception. What I like most is the versatility. I can listen to local AM/FM, search the shortwave bands, use SSB, or connect to internet stations from around the world, all from the same radio. The owners of the company take the time to listen to customers and will implement software updates accordingly. Currently, the Home Screen only shows Celsius, but they are working diligently to add Fahrenheit for US based customers. The LC100 has quickly become one of my favorite radios. If you enjoy shortwave, international broadcasting, or simply want a radio that offers much more than the typical portable receiver, I highly recommend it. Five stars. ... show more

I hate when companies show an item in stock, they take your payment, and they really don't have the item in stock. For example, i ordered this radio 08/26/2026 and its 09/13/2026. They obviously don't have it in stock and they get to put my money in their account and make interest plus get my sale for the product too. BTW, this not a 3rd party seller but the manufacture.
