So far we are pleased. We needed a chair I could easily fold and light enough to lift into my SUV. My husband doesn’t need a chair full time, just something to transport him to appointments when a long walk is involved. This chair is perfect for that. It comes fully assembled. Easy to fold and unfold. Easy to lift into my car. Easy to push my husband around. It is also comfortable for him. Overall it meets all of our needs.

I find it very light which is good for the caretaker I like the ease of getting over the front door threshold My disabled wife doesn't like it as much as I do. She claims the wheel that you roll yourself is smaller than others and it takes her longer to get around .She did not like the seat belt. Her Physical Therapist likes others that the foot rests swing away The patient using the brakes do not work as well as the back assisted brakes Also after only a few weeks the p[astic side clamp broke

This chair (Made In China) comes with limitations in that the chair is somewhat small and is weight restricted to just 200 lbs for the person sitting in it. The grips in the rear (for the attendant) are low and basic plastic and not a grip rubber. The locking handbrakes are a very nice feature for the attendant. The rear wheels are only 22". That means more effort or rotations for the chairs user. The armrest(s) are adjustable up/down but are a hard rigid plastic for the user and somewhat uncomfortable. The chair will need additional professional wheelchair cushions both bottom and back (two needed). The supplied cushion is paper-thin. While Amazon suggests a rear carrying bag to be purchased, it already has one built into the chair. Thus, you don't need an extra. The footrest are not detachable as is the case for most wheelchairs. Handbrakes for the user are placed well and are excellent in holding the chair in-place which is essential when moving into or out of the chair. It sometimes feels more like a transport chair rather than a wheelchair. In fact, if you read the description carefully, it may say wheelchair but it also says transport chair. 30 lbs is its lift weight. In the end, it's a short-term chair. However, for someone who has to live in it on a daily basis, keep looking. This would be the wrong chair.

The wheelchair is very nice and I like it, but my husband has a problem getting the seat to fold downward to fold chair up to put in vehicle. The seat wants to fold upward. can you advise what the problem might be? The picture of the chair shown now is for a transport chair. My review is for the wheelchair, which is not shown now. Be careful in ordering, if you prefer a wheelchair instead of a transport chair! You have to have help with a transport chair, but a wheelchair can be used with help, or can be managed alone. We figured out how to get the seat to fold down easier. Fold the back down that has the handlebars first, second, take the bottom cushion, one sits on, out that comes with the wheelchair, fold the seat down, then fold wheelchair and put in trunk of vehicle. Fits in vehicle much easier this way. You will need a replace the sit on cushion, when unfolding the wheelchair to use again or replacing another cushion of your choice when unfolding and using the wheelchair or you could add the cushion back that came with the wheelchair and add an extra cushion of your choice to this as well. This is a very nice wheelchair and I hope it is back in stock soon. I really love it.

This chair is super lightweight but that is about the only plus I have for it. Push rims are too narrow to comfortably grip to self propel. The wheels are also a bit too far back to be comfortable if you are going to be primarily propelling yourself. This chair is also pretty flimsy. The back support is basically non existent. Even with my ergonomic cushion it caused extra hip pain. This chair is also not curvy friendly. As a part time wheelchair user that has a bigger butt It can be hard to find good options on the market. If you have long legs I would definitely avoid this chair as the foot plate placement is not ergonomic at all for a longer legged human. The tires are also hard plastic and provide virtually no traction making it borderline unsafe over surfaces that aren’t perfectly smooth unless you have someone to push you and even then provides basically no shock absorption. I only used this chair for a total of about 3 hours before noticing these issues. You are better off searching for a chair secondhand or spending more money to get something that is made better.

I purchased tis wheelchair for my husband because we were going to Cancun. It worked perfectly. The handbrakes on the back handles were perfect for going up and down hill while on our excursion to Xcaret, (albeit it was not handicap friendly. The wheelchair is a beautiful, blue color with large wheels in the back and handbrakes on each side as well. My husband decorated it with his Dodger stickers and he loves it!
