Has sought after design for allowing user to 'launch' by placing hands on right-angle bars & pushing upwards while using thighs as well. Light & easy folding, very much appreciated. I recently broke my leg and my orthopedist said I couldn’t put weight on it for eight weeks after surgery. So I bought this wheelchair to provide some mobility, primarily in my home. The chair is compact, rugged and maneuvers beautifully. The flat surface of the wheels makes navigating carpet possible. They’re a breeze on tile and cement. The dual axle almost lets you turn on a dime. That’s especially helpful in my hallway and laundry room. It’s reasonably portable, although not especially lightweight. However my friend has loaded it into his vehicle so I can use it when I go to my doctor’s appointments. It’s exactly what I needed for my recovery period. It allows me to be more independent. I keep one of these at my house for our family when we need it. I have used it a few times for when I have broken my pelvis, had COVID and for other family members. It is a good width at 18" for the standard person, and has durable swing away footrests. I highly recommend.

Outside package was slightly damaged upon delivery. The wheelchair itself was undamaged and meets my expectations. However, the footrests for the chair were missing. In our situation it is not a major issue as they were not going to be needed anytime soon. Construction is very good and it will hold up very well. This was purchased to supplement another wheelchair to avoid hauling one up and down steps. Wheelchairs are mainly to provide a stable seat for an individual who has difficulty getting up from a normal chair.
