  • Harder to push than regular
The wheelchair was grand to load and unload (very light and I'm 83) and easy to build and set up. Just remember that with the smaller wheels, a person is harder to push. The chair doesn't roll as easily as do the larger wheels on a wheelchair.

  • Fully assembled can accommodate a 6ft 200 pound man
It weighs under 15 pounds. It is a transport chair but if you have one good leg can use like a regular wheel chair steer with foot has seat belt pocket behind and the optional drink holder. It costs 40 to 50 a month to rent a wheel chair so for the price and hassle of renting you own. No it cannot go off road but on a level sidewalk can walk dog if one leg is strong great for one broken leg torn all. Plus unlike the huge 30 to 40 pound chairs this can lay flat in your back seat!! Winner!! ... show more

  • Does an excellent job as a transporter
My mom can walk short distances and sometimes uses a walker. However, trips to the doctor or any extended distances requires us to use a wheelchair. We had a "free" wheelchair from her church that weighed at least 40 pounds and was a beast. This wheelchair weighs only 15 pounds and I can lift it with one hand, yet is very sturdy and carries her well. We used it to take her to her grand-daughter's graduation in the football stadium and it could not have been easier. It also folds into a much smaller footprint which fits in her small car. The clips for the footrests keep them out of the way and hold them so I don't have to remove them to put in the trunk. A+++ ... show more

  • Great Chair for Limited Mobility Needs
I purchased this for my wife's father who is in his 80s. When I asked him to review it, he said "four or five stars." I told him he would have to choose either four or five so he chose four stars. I asked him what he liked most about it and he said it was the low weight of the chair. I then asked what would it take for him to give it a full five stars. His answer was that it 'almost' didn't fit in the back of their Subaru Crosstek -- it did but just barely. He continued, that if it fit easily then he would have given it five stars. Just to be clear, his wife, also in her 80s, is the one who puts the chair in the back of the car. I suppose if she were a few years younger, she would have no problem with fitting the chair in the car but she has her own limited mobility and age issues. Personally, I would give the chair a full five stars since my wife's father really likes the chair and the only negative he has for it is, "it barely fits in the back of their car." ... show more

  • It is sturdy and handles my wife comfortable with plenty of room
I was surprised by the speed of delivery of 2 days from GA to HI. The unit was basically pre-assembled and was in use within 5 minutes of delivery. It is sturdy and handles my wife comfortable with plenty of room. It is light enough for me to handle in and out of the car at 75 years of age. We are looking forward to a cruise with it and the stateroom requires compact equipment and this reduces down to 5" and foot rest can either be removed or swung out of the way for storage. ... show more

  • not made to be used for long periods of time
The metal is coming through so he is sitting on the seat with the metal bars digging into him but he sits it in all day so perhaps it is not well made or made for anything other than a few minutes here or there. It was purchased for a friend and he looked at it instead of using it right away so now it's too late to return it. What he was saving it for is beyond me other than he had another one but the metal is coming through so he is uncomfortable but he waited so now he is stuck and so am because I have to listen to it although not a relative and I spent a lot of time reading reviews and comparing so a lot of time wasted. Not so sure all the reviews are honest as the last few purchases were not anything as expected. ... show more

  • Lightweight!
I’m glad I bought this chair. I needed it for my mom. It made things a lot easier for me. Keep in mind that the wheels are small. The person in the chair is not able to wheel themselves around. The person in the chair will need to be pushed. This is perfect for me. I am petite and should not lift heavy objects. I can handle this. I’m very happy with this chair. (Keep the plastic bag. You can use it to cover the chair when not in use.) ... show more

  • Great product!
Just received this chair today and could not be more pleased. Will use it for my husband who has difficulty walking more than short distances. The quality of this chair is superior. It is also very very easy to assemble, although assembly is MINIMAL. Folding the chair is very easy. All around a great product that will serve us well. ... show more
