  • Stop looking. You finally found the RIGHT ONE! Stop looking. You finally found the RIGHT ONE!
Post-FDL tummy tuck, and I’ve worn this binder exclusively for the last 3 months. It is, without question, the best compression binder I’ve found. In fact, I kept ordering other binders thinking I should have a backup. Every single one of them was returned. None of them even came close to this one. I always found myself reaching right back for this binder because there simply isn’t a better one. It’s supportive without being uncomfortable, provides amazing compression, and moves with your body instead of feeling stiff or restrictive. I can wear it all day without constantly adjusting it. And the Velcro deserves its own standing ovation. I’ve taken this binder on and off approximately a jillion times, and the Velcro is still holding strong like it was brand new. No loss of grip, no frustration, no issues. If you’re post-op and tired of wasting money trying to find “the right one,” save yourself the trouble. I already did the trial-and-error for you. This is the right one. ... show more

  • I like this lumbar area binder for my lower back issues.
This item is very nice, though mine is new, so time will tell on the issue of how well it lasts. I love the feel of this one, and the seemingly more solid construction, yet more flexible is a big improvement over it's predecessor from the hospital. The binder I received is just as appears on the Amazon site as of 9/24/16. I have back problems, numerous lumbar surgeries and just had my second pain pump implant put in to replace the dying #1 pain pump. The surgeon specified a lumbar wrap similar to this one and it has been a huge help. I wore the one from the hospital as instructed, but it's obviously and lesser quality one, but did last well past the two weeks the doctor wanted me to have the two incisions wrapped tightly. I have slept so much better with a wrap on at night that I bought this one to wear into the future and already like it much more than the other one I had. I'm hoping the velcro on this one lasts better too, but if I only get 3 months out of each binder, so be it. These are a small price to pay for how much improved my sleep is without wearing one. ... show more

  • Good Abdominal Binder
Purchased this abdominal binder for use after a surgery on my back, to give it extra support & compression. Overall, at first, this binder is great & fit well. The material is thick and the Velcro is strong … allowing me to adjust for the compression and support I needed. It washes well - I just put it in on a delicate cycle and hung to dry. The problem is with any extended length of use, the Velcro becomes much less effective because the material frays and it doesn’t stick to it as well anymore. Overall a decent product, but just know if you need it for an extended period of time…you’ll probably have to end up purchasing another ... show more

  • Comfortable
I’ve tried many different binders since 2020. Not one binder in the last 6 years was as comfortable as this Medline, which I discovered because they used it on me at the #1 hospital in my area, where I was a patient 7 months ago. The hospital knew what they were doing. The other binders I tried are denser, heavier, and thus too hot to wear in summer and far less comfortable overall. They trap body heat (this one does not.) The others also often have “bones” as part of the restraint, vertical strips usually made of plastic or metal. No bones in this one—so no errant poking or pain. I recommend the Medline. I wear a Medline every day and have for 6 months now. I have not found them very washable, at least not in the machine. You end up with ragged bits where the velcro sticks to the fabric. But they are no worse for that the the others that close with velcro. And for pete’s sake, don’t try the hooks and zippers ones! I’m going to try washing carefully by hand from now on. ... show more

  • Runs small
This binder works, but it runs small, has itchy material, and the verco stip doesn't allow you to make it larger or smaller.

  • Just what I needed
It took me a couple of tries before I was able to wear this support comfortably, but it was me, not the support. If you make sure to have the Velcro placed entirely on the connecting fabric, then it's super comfortable. The first time I wore it, about 1/2 inch touched my skin and it scratched me and my skin became red and sore and very uncomfortable in that one spot. When putting it on, I placed the binder way up on my chest and got the Velcro closed correctly, then I pulled it down into place. Also, if I wrapped it too tight, then after a while of traipsing through Disney World, I found it hard to breathe. lol It took me a while to realize why. I still laugh about that! As for the binder itself, it is well-made out of quality fabric and even though the material isn't super-thick, it was very supportive. When walking long distances, my back starts to hurt because my tummy is too big. I didn't have this problem at all with this abdominal support. ... show more
