  • Great wheelchair but it's not light
I love how slim this is, and my mother loves it. I'm still not sure how to open it up completely besides having to sit on it, which makes it open. Unfortunately I have to take the leg pieces off when putting it in my car trunk, but it's pretty easy. The only thing I don't like is the weight ... I don't see how this weighs just 30 pounds...I can barely lift it. There's also no pockets anywhere to stash anything, so we might have to buy something else for that. Otherwise, it's a great buy. ... show more

  • Too small
It was too small for me it probably fit a child. I like the looks and the adjustable height and back . This is very important to me as my husband is tall and has a bad back. Also the shipping box looks like it was destroyed and then they tried to tape it back together. Maybe this happened in customs. ... show more

  • Bad customer service
Ordered this wheelchair when my husband had his leg amputated in January 2023. When delivered the right leg worked only intermittently when trying to lift. Have been in contact with Medline since it was delivered and still do not have a replacement. Each time I call they say it has been sent but still do not have a replacement leg or chair. ... show more

  • Good Wheelchair - From Medline, Not Amazon
When I first ordered the wheelchair from Amazon on July 28, it was scheduled to arrive August 18, even though I have prime. I then receive an email I'd get the chair in a few days. Surprisingly, the chair arrived July 30. The carton was sealed all over with packing tape. None of the original packing staples were attached. The serial number on the box didn't even match the serial number on the chair. The chair had all sorts of alignment issues. For example, the left rear wheel was only 1/16" away from the arm rest, yet the right rear wheel was 3/4" away from the armrest. I already cut up the box to recycle, so I did not even bother to contact Amazon. So, I contacted Medline. Medline sent me a bran new wheelchair, wanting me to send back the 1st wheelchair in the replacement's box. The new chair, once adjusted, is great! I'm only 5'5" tall, so I shortened the front and rear wheels. The chair easily slides through 29" doorways. When you first get your chair, the back is off and has to be inserted in the corresponding tubes. Set the height with the adjustable pins. Then tighten the set screws with the supplied Allan wrench. The manual is very poorly written, yet adequate. Adjusting the height of the rear wheels is super easy. Just push in the external hubcap, retracting the axle pins, then pull off the wheel. The front wheels can be a challenge, depending how tight the factory tightened the Allen bolts. I had to use a medium sized vice grips on the included Allan wrench just to loosen them! But once everything is tightened, adjusted and secured, the chair is very enjoyable. I would recommend it, but not from Amazon. Oh, BTW, it's Made In China for Medline Industries, so the box and tags on the chair state. Just as other reviews note, the rear wheels wobble. ... show more

  • Quick delivery, easy set up
This wheelchair arrived two days earlier than expected. It is lightweight and was easy to assemble.

  • Satisfied but not Excited
The chair is nice. Easy enough to assemble. Leg rests attach and detach easily. However, they don't allow leg to go straight down and when elevated thy are too short. There is probably a way to adjust that, but haven't figured it out. Wish I had gotten one that did not have the elevating leg rest. I expect it is more for people with broken leg, etc. The chair is not really what I would call lightweight, but I can pick it up and it barely fits behind the driver's seat in my Chevy Equinox---but it does fit. I can easily collapse it and open it. My 98-year-old mother is happy with it and is easily able to "walk" it around the house (when foot rests are not attached). ... show more

  • Lightweight and great maneuverability
My 80 year old mother needed a wheelchair as she suddenly lost the use of her legs due to severe spinal stenosis. My parents live in a small house with very limited room. This wheelchair was small enough to get through narrow doorways and around furniture. The leg rests are great for keeping her feet elevated and are quickly removable. The flipback arms are great for getting right up to the dining room table for meals, although the design allows for you to be closer anyways. Great wheelchair! So glad I ordered!! ... show more
