I'm a big guy and ordered a large that was a perfect fit for me. I also sweat alot, so the inside did get wet, but I never did get cold even though it was very cold outside.

This helmet is great! Fit perfectly up against my Smith ski goggles. There's vents at the top to help with air flow (if needed). The flex strap in the back is great for keeping the ski goggles secured soundly to the helmet. The ear flaps help keep your ears warm on super cold days on the mountain. There's also a gauge in the back to help loosen or tighten the helmet. I'm a beginner / intermediate skier (mostly blues & greens); while I didn't take any serious falls this season, I felt well protected with this helmet on. Smith makes a bunch of helmets, some way more expensive than this one. While yes, I am newer, I thought this helmet was just perfect.

Got this for my daughter, very comfortable and feels very well built, sturdy; just what you would expect from an helmet. Love the two tone color, very cool. She uses it for skiing and also, removing the ear padding, for when she rides her E-scooter .

My son went off a jump that he did not successfully land. Two broken legs and a fractured vertebrae, but his head was protected by the helmet. Only received a very minor concussion. Nice protection but he won't be wearing it again for a while. :)
