I ordered one for my father who is thin to average size. He fit fine. I also needed one for my mother and she is a larger woman. I ordered the bigger size and saw very little difference between the two and she didn’t fit. Couldn’t return it because it’s medical supplies so keep that in mind when you order ... show more

This chair is very nice and light weight. The one point I would make is that even though the seat measures 19", the arms of the chair are attached at the front and back of the seat, rather than on the outside side of the seat. Therefore, the seat is a little narrower and a heavier person may have to turn to the side to get in the chair past the arms. My mother's old chair measures 17 1/2 inches across, yet was roomier to sit in because of this. She weighs around 210 lbs and her back side hits the arms when she is getting in. Otherwise, this chair is very nice, attractive, easy to fold up, and extremely light. If your 200 lbs or less, I would highly recommend this chair. ... show more

I enjoy the weight of the transport chair because it’s easy to put in the car trunk. Our floors are tile and even with the brakes engaged the chair will slide on the tile. It concerns me that it feels unstable in that instance. Also the right side of the back of our chair wiggles when it’s engaged in the locked position. The left side is tight and doesn’t.
