This is a very light and smooth reel with a matched balance for the Redington Trout rod. The case though does not seem to fit well and does not have enought room to close it with parts of the reel hanging out. Now owning both the Redington Rise and Run I can safely say there’s overall not much difference besides price. Reel performs great and has a smooth drag which I got to test out the next day after receiving it on my TFO. Overall great reel without having to break the bank and for the price it’s hard to beat. This is the best cast aluminum reel I've ever seen. It has no play whatsoever between the spool and the housing. Furthermore, the casting job is perfect with no obvious divits or superficial cracks. It also feels as light as a barstock machined reel due to the extreme porting. Add this to a smooth and wide adjustable drag and you get a reel that will work for any freshwater fish. Although the Behemoth has a heavier drag system, I like this Run reel better due to the lightness and tight construction. You don't need a tarpon drag to land a steelhead! ... show more
