The media could not be loaded. This cone is the perfect size for most backyard breeds. The metal isn't flimsy, it's great quality. The edges are not sharp at all, the screws you used to assemble it do not poke in to risk hitting the chickens. Everything's fits very easily and seamlessly together so that it's nice and smooth. The coating is even and will help it with scratch resistance, and make it easy to clean and resistant to rust. You can mount this to a fence line, cage, a wall, all sorts of things. I have it mounted to a post with a bucket beneath it for my setup. But it will work a lot of different ways. I have five different breeds and all of them fit just fine, I tested it out just casually to be sure so when and if that time comes, then it will be as quick and considerate as possible given the circumstance. This is about as safe and kind as the process can get, and I appreciate that this is pretty looking and not reminiscent of a torture device or anything sinister like that. On our farm we definitely want to make sure to honor the sacrifices of those to feed the others here, and don't want it to end up being a chop shop situation. So we have a nice little area set up as a workstation that kind of doubles as a ceremonial center. The chickens just relax and fall asleep basically once upside down, so they are calm because of this since they can't do much kicking or flailing, and with the blood flow going to their head, they are less and less aware of their surroundings, which makes the next series of steps much more pleasant on everybody involved. Really appreciate the manufacturer for the effort on the detailing and making it look nice and everything being smooth so that there is no unnecessary discomfort in the process. It's really sturdy and doesn't deform shape at all either and definitely good quality for the price. Im pleased with it

The most unfortunate part of homesteading is needing one of these, but this chicken cone makes the task as straightforward as possible. It’s heavy-duty, stays sturdy once mounted, and gets the job done efficiently. I have mine attached to a fence, and it has held up perfectly with a very simple installation. For anyone culling poultry on a small scale, this may be the only cone you’ll ever need. Practical, reliable, and thoughtfully designed for its purpose.

The cone has a super nice looking style, but the screws should have been pan heads, not tapered, and that made them a little awkward to tighten fully, and detracted from the overall appearance, knowing it had a glaring design flaw of screw choice. If flat head screws were intended to be used, the holes should have been tapered so they sit flush, rather than sitting oddly proud like they do now.

This was not the easiest too put together, as there isn't a whole lot of room to hold the nut inside and in a corner. It's doable though, definitely could have been worse. The metal is sturdy and durable feeling. The chickens fit in it good, haven't tried a duck yet, but it looks large enough for them as well. The black powder coating is easy to clean and there is no sharp edges.

I really like how simple but strong this chicken cone is. It's somewhat 'no frills', but in a generally good way. It was deceptively easy to put together for just how sturdy it ended up being, and the hardware they sent with it leaves for some flexibility on where to install it, or even how, such as on a wooden fence or post, or in my case, I'll be attaching it to a large metal kennel. It's big enough to handle full grown birds and doesn't seem to be jostled around much by movement. For the price, I think it performs beyond adequately.

Packaged with care to protect the powder coating on the metal. I appreciate the finish as it will be easy to clean. Kit came with extra screws, which was helpful because one of them had messed up threads... I love when businesses think through these kinds of things for their buyers. Small detail, but it shows the company is thinking about quality control. For those who manage their own flocks, this is a practical and humane tool. When handled calmly and gently, birds tend to relax and even fall asleep when inverted, making the process far less traumatic for them and the handler. While it’s never an easy task, this cone supports a respectful and controlled approach to small-scale poultry keeping. We don’t raise meat birds but occasionally process our own roosters, and tools like this make a difficult task more manageable and dignified... one of the sad realities of raising and keeping chickens. Great packaging, everything was collapsed for simple shipping and wrapped together so pieces would not get lost which is really nice because this does come with quite a few small screws for full assembly. The instructions are very easy to follow and I do love that they send a small screwdriver with the kit so you don't have to worry about finding one to install. The design is humane for processing meat birds at home. The material is very strong, made to last, and could definitely handle some of the heavier birds. I love that this collapses for easy storage as well
