Great idea in theory-had me all excited like a chicken in a feed store. Put it together, everything was working fine, so I went on a business trip like a responsible adult. Came back? Total disaster zone. One of the cups decided to start leaking and basically turned my chicken coop into a swamp. Birds were not happy. I was not happy. Returned that thing so fast. These work great for our new chicks. They can be hung by chain, s hook or attach to a board or wood frame. I preferred the s hooks to hang on their pen. Well made, easy to put together and efficient. Water retention so far so good

These are excellent for chickens. Easy to assemble and mount. It took very little “training” for my birds to figure out the food and waterer, and whats great is there is no waste. Highly recommended for your flock.

    • Okay for a small flock but there are flaws

Update: while getting the hens up for the evening I could hear water poring out. Went to the water bucket and one of the orange cups was leaking. Since it's just plastic it had to get broken by one of the chickens. I already do not use the feeder and now I'm not using the water bucket. I'll not buy again. 2.24.26 These are my back up feeder & watering system. They come with all the hardware so you can use that it's best suited for your chickens, which is wonderful. I quickly stopped using the feeder since it only has 3 openings & I have 4 chickens so 1 is left out when they like to eat together. Also it's not ideal to hang (for my preference or run design). On both when you lift the handle it touches the lid making it come up. Handles should be further out. As for the water dispenser it holds a lot of water which is good. Once the water gets lower than the cups it stops delivering water which makes sense but with other gravity water systems it will need to get to the bottom before there's no water.
