I like to watch YouTube cooking videos, and a lot of the cooks rave about these meat mashers, so I finally decided to give one a try. It really does a great job breaking up ground beef (and pork and sausage) into nice, individual granules with minimal effort. I've also used it for mashing both cooked tomatoes as well as whole peeled tomatoes from a can. It's very sturdy, which allows you to apply a good amont of force when mashing, and I've not seen any melting after leaving it leaning against a hot pan.
