Very useful but the lid part is hard to clean where it pushes the food down. The grid holds food and you need to clean it out with a knife or something thin. The metal grate part also holds food. But it’s all dishwasher safe so generally a useful tool.

I had a vegetable chopper I loved (for years) but one of the blades broke on the chop I used most often so I got this as a replacement. It works really well. You get a uniform professional chop, faster than I could cut things up myself, and the fact that they are the same size means they will all cook at the same rate (yeah!). It really helps make a soup, etc... look a lot more conventionally store made. Truthfully I really only use the one pattern so far too chop with, and probably will most. With the tool that comes with it to comb the chopper part that works well. The bottom piece took some finagling with it to find out how the two pieces will come apart for easer cleaning. And I still have to fiddle with it a lot to get them apart. They do come apart, although I saw no instructions that told me that. ... show more
