My wife and I both use this product to dice onions en masse and quickly. It's extremely handy and we had used one before, but never owned our own. If you don't want to take the time to dice by knife, this product is a 100% must have in any kitchen.

It works as described and you get uniform pieces of your food. If you have a big job go for it otherwise just use the knife. Can't handle dense food (potatoes, onions) unless in smaller chunks. Definitely a place for this in most kitchens

Didn't start using this until the last 2-3 weeks so too late to return. It's just inferior. Very difficult to lift the green insert (rounded on one end) and separate it from the base. It wants to "stick" and you have to be careful. But the worst is cleaning that grid. Hundreds and hundreds of little pieces get stuck up there on the grid and the little "comb" that is provided is almost useless. Let me tell you I will NEVER use this on parsley, as an example. It took me, literally, 15+ min. to clean that grid and remove all the excess pieces. Had to use a little paring knife to try and remove all of them, running the knife (dull side) up and down the deep lines and forcing water to go in-between ... ENDLESS!!!!! The cleaning of this unit took 3X longer than it would have if I had hand-chopped all the vegs. It DOES chop most vegs well, but the clean-up is never-ending and such a chore. Not worth it at all.
