I struggle with my allergies and my sinuses are easily agitated by the fumes from chopping onions. I bought this vegetable chopper and it has become a staple in my kitchen! I consistently use it for chopping all my vegetables and shredding or cubing cheeses. I do not LOVE to use the mandolin or shredder, but mainly because I’m not comfortable with it. Overall, I would buy this item over and over again because it saves me so much time, works great, and is easy to use. The blades are also very sharp and have not dulled easily like other choppers I have used in the past. The chopper itself is sturdy and well built. The only thing that slightly bothers me is how easily the lid becomes a tad misplaced between chops. This still would not deter me from purchasing this product and recommending it to my friends and family!

This comes with so many pieces that I wish it came with a case to keep everything together. That being said, it’s a very versatile kitchen tool. I personally found most of the functions reasonably easy to use. A couple times I had to apply more force than expected. The downside is some of the attachments can be hard to clean. So while you gain time by cutting things faster, you may find cleanup takes longer. It can be helpful to rinse the various pieces right away or soak them to get any vegetable matter off.

This is good if you're chopping a lot of veggies like to feed 4+ people or prepping a lot for the week. I wouldn't say its something I'll use every single day as it is a bit of a hassle to keep clean

Where has this been all my life? I've never owned a veggie chopper like this, although I've seen them advertised. I have a regular grater, and a food processor I never go to the trouble of getting out anymore. No electricity required! There is a learning curve. Make sure you have the correct side up when inserting the little cutting panels. I had the dull side up the first time and thought it didn't work! I finally figured out to turn it over and zip zip - the potato went right through. I used the larger inserts to make vegetable beef soup yesterday. You do need to prepare your veggies first by washing and cutting them into workable size pieces. For potatoes, I found it works best to cut them into at least 4 slices (not quartered unless they're too big to fit within the slicing grid area). My slice were about 1" thick. I cut carrots into about 4 pieces; the onion I quartered, and the celery I cut each rib into 4 pieces. Once you prepare the veggies, processing through the grid piece by piece goes fast - and I love the uniform cuts. I also grated cheese on top (separate process) with the medium-size grater for a casserole. All in all, I really like this vegetable chopper and slicer. Make sure you always use the glove that comes with it for holding any foods you will be chopping or grating. I haven't tried the other accessories yet (avocado holder, etc.). I can recommend this vegetable chopper.
