Wore these in Breckenridge for skiing and playing in the snow, they kept my hands warm as long as my hands were already warm. I noticed when I had to take them off, they are bulky, my hands had a hard time warming back up, but they did nonetheless help to keep the brutal cold off my fingers. I found these to be quality gloves for very cheap. Warm and stayed dry. I was only out for about an hour sledding in 20 degree F (-7 C) weather so I can't speak too much on that. The only issue was the length of the fingers. I have medium sized woman's hands and while the glove generally fit, the fingers were too long to do anything that requires dexterity. Even basic dexterity like grabbing the correct key from my key chain. I would recommend ordering a size smaller if you don't have long fingers. I bought these to go on an Alaskan cruise because I was taking excursions on icy water. We were told to wear waterproof gloves and something that will keep us definitely warm. These were so awesome. My hands never got cold the whole time. We were outside doing all sorts of excursions and it was right on the ice. I hate it when my hands get cold. But my hands did not get cold. I will admit that when I initially purchased these gloves I did not believe they would fit me properly, nor provide the protection from the cold I was hoping for. Thankfully, I was wrong. While they are slightly big on me, I am able to grasp most objects while wearing them as if I was not wearing the gloves. I was thrilled because I either only could wear cloth gloves so I can grasp the shovel (which resulted in very cold, numb hands), or I had gloves that were too large and resulted in slower shoveling because I constantly had to adjust my grip. The gloves provide good insulation from the cold as well. They are padded somewhat on the inside and if you tuck the gloves underneath your jacket sleeves the cold weather will have a difficult time penetrating them. They also have cords around the wrists that you can adjust to create a better fit, too. Overall, I was impressed by this product and would recommend it to my friends. ... show more

I bought these gloves for my bike commutes to work, and the winters her in the pnw are very cold. They did work well at first up until it started getting colder. the gloves do not keep my fingers warm at all in 30 degree weather, which is disappointing.
