I really love this chair! I'm a therapist and I need a chair that is going to be comfortable and supportive for hours of sitting and look decent. This chair is all of that and affordable! Also, I am terrible, I mean terrible, at building furniture but found this very easy to build myself. Not sure what all of the reviews saying it was so hard to build are talking about? I bought the Saddle color and it is very attractive (appears a wee bit darker than in the photos). All elements of the chair were parkaged very carefully, with ample cushioned wrapping over the wood base to protect it from scratches. Very high quality wood base finish. The swivel works very well, without any grinding or other issues mentioned by other purchasers. The chair rotates perfactly, with subtle resistance so that it does not whip around like a ball-bearing bar stool. As mentioned by others, the single sheet pictogram instruction is poor. I recommend using an electric drill with a metric hex bit (ideally, a long bit so it reaches the two hard-to-reach screws attaching the lower arm assembly to the chair). The vinyl fake leather material is very attractive, and great care was obviously taken at the factory to attach it tightly to the frame. I have not experienced any puckering or loss of cushioning in the armrests, suggesting that earlier units might have been working out the bugs. I bought my unit in Feb 2024 and I experienced none of the quality issues mentioned by some earlier purchasers. The chair was delivered in two boxes and the contents were very effectively protected from damage by a ton of cushioning materials. I did not set a world-record in speedly assembly, but had I used a long hex bit in a drill/driver (I have since ordered a set) I would probably have assembled the chair more rapidly. The included manual hex tool slowed things down, particularly when reaching and tightening the hidden lower screws holding the arms to the main body. This is a serviceable chair, but lacked the kind of quality I was expecting for the money. Shortly upon opening the boxes, I noticed the frame of the chair was bent, making assembly a full on nightmare. Add to that the truly horrible instructions and the useless Allen wrench and even more useless crescent wrench (use your own tools, if you can) included for assembly, and my chair and I got off to a very bad start. Now that it's assembled and been in use for about a week, I think I can fairly assess its overall value and quality. I went with the chenille for the simple reason that leather is only good quality at a much higher price point. So to avoid the annoyance of cracked and faded leather (plus I don't find leather all that comfortable particularly in winter, when it's cold to the touch), chenille -- a fabric I like for its comfort, wear, and feel -- worked for me. I chose grey, which may have been a mistake with the dark brown wooden frame. The swivel is a bit rough, as the ball bearings feel as if they need oil. The reclining mechanism is pretty poor, with so-called "micro-adjustment knobs" can best be described as useless. (That may be because the frame is bent, it's difficult to say.) All in all, a disappointment. I should have listened to myself and gone to an actual furniture store. I might have paid more, but it would have been worth it for the quality. ... show more

This is a beautiful blue chair that is very comfortable. Everything about it was positive. Packing, parts, instructions, material, everything. Took longer to remove all the packing materials than to assemble. Fits my 5'8"/200# frame perfectly. Feels very secure and all the finishes are rich and attractive. Looks like a much more expensive seat. I wanted a nice corner chair and didn't want to spend a lot of money. If I get a handful of years out of this it would be an excellent investment (I suspect that the fabric will wear the fastest > it's not thick). Recommended ... show more
