First and foremost too expensive for the size of the chair my wife is 5 feet tall and it was too small for her ...but my 11 year daughter fit right into it . Good quality chair 5 min to put together but too small for a adult person

I purchased this because I wanted a small comfortable chair for reading. I like to sit cross-legged or with both legs to one side when I read, and this type of chair looked perfect for "nestling" in. I chose this particular one because it swivels, tilts a bit, and the seat height can be adjusted. It was easy to assemble. At first I wished it was a little bigger, but after using it for a couple of weeks, it turns out to be just the right size. The cushion could use more padding in the center where you sit, but there are zippers in the seams on the backside of the cushion, so the stuffing can be shifted or more stuffing can be added as needed, or another thin cushion could be placed beneath the center of the existing cushion. It should be easy to make it as comfortable as I want. I couldn't ask for more. Update: I've seen a couple of reviews that claim the chair is not stable and tips over easily. They must have a different version of the chair, because mine is very stable and I am not able to get it to tip over while I'm in it. ... show more

For the price I paid for this I expected it to be larger!!! I've been wanting a papasan chair for awhile but didn't like how they were stationary. This one rocks and swivels which was the reason I picked it. It is super soft to sit in, but it is SMALL. I do love the pretty color and that the cushion ties to the frame to keep it from sliding. I wonder how long those will last. I did buy a foot stool to put in front of it so it will be easier to rock. And I do love that it has a Velvet piece under the cushion to help with sliding. Shipping was very fast. I'm very disappointed in the size, larger papasan chairs sell for $50 or more cheaper than this one. And that's why I gave it 3 stars. I would still not say this is for small spaces. Just because it's smaller than the normal chairs of this type it still takes up a lot of real-estate. Purchased for my daughter's room for a desk chair (yeah bad idea) and it's way too big and unwieldy for that space. She loves it so we kept it and it's now in a corner for her to use to read. Got this as a Christmas present. I was redecorating my room in lavender, greens and white. I wanted a comfortable chair to read books or watch TV in but one that was tall enough. I have long legs and it's hard on my knees to get out of short chairs. This chair has adjustable height. Perfect! Plus it was the option to make it lean back or just stay upright.
