I have long legs and it's hard on my knees to get out of short chairs. This chair has adjustable height. Perfect! Plus it was the option to make it lean back or just stay upright. For the price I paid for this I expected it to be larger!!! I've been wanting a papasan chair for awhile but didn't like how they were stationary. This one rocks and swivels which was the reason I picked it. It is super soft to sit in, but it is SMALL. I do love the pretty color and that the cushion ties to the frame to keep it from sliding. I wonder how long those will last. I did buy a foot stool to put in front of it so it will be easier to rock. And I do love that it has a Velvet piece under the cushion to help with sliding. Shipping was very fast. I'm very disappointed in the size, larger papasan chairs sell for $50 or more cheaper than this one. And that's why I gave it 3 stars. I wanted a “nest chair” to sit in at my computer all day. I work most days from home and can not sit like a normal human. I sit criss cross applesauce or some over variation with my legs tucked under and normal office chairs just were made for me. I’ve been using this 4 days a week, 8+ hours a day for about a month now and I love it! The ability to raise it made it the perfect height for my desk and now I get to snuggle in during those extra long zoom calls. Would def. recommend for a home office if you’re ou sit like me. I purchased this because I wanted a small comfortable chair for reading. I like to sit cross-legged or with both legs to one side when I read, and this type of chair looked perfect for "nestling" in. I chose this particular one because it swivels, tilts a bit, and the seat height can be adjusted. It was easy to assemble. At first I wished it was a little bigger, but after using it for a couple of weeks, it turns out to be just the right size. The cushion could use more padding in the center where you sit, but there are zippers in the seams on the backside of the cushion, so the stuffing can be shifted or more stuffing can be added as needed, or another thin cushion could be placed beneath the center of the existing cushion. It should be easy to make it as comfortable as I want. I couldn't ask for more. Update: I've seen a couple of reviews that claim the chair is not stable and tips over easily. They must have a different version of the chair, because mine is very stable and I am not able to get it to tip over while I'm in it. ... show more

    • Potentially Dangerous Chair - Poor Customer Support

I purchased this chair for my office since it could be raised and lowered like an office chair. The chair itself is quite comfortable, but the chair's design makes it easy to topple over. It is very top-heavy, and the small radius of the base does not provide enough stability to the chair overall. On my particular chair, the lever used to raise and lower the chair seems to have been bent or damaged (possibly defective in general). Abruptly the chair became unable to "lock" and leaning against the back would pitch the entire chair over. Thankfully I didn't crack my head on the end table behind me. Customer service advised me that it was not supposed to lock (despite this being in the description) and told me they would tell the manufacturer about the defect and see what they said as a "resolution". Update: I was offered the opportunity to return the chair for a refund, but the seller does not provide pre-paid shipping labels for defective merchandise. So far the cheapest price I've been quoted for shipping is $100. Per Amazon, it isn't their problem since the seller is fulfilling the order and not Amazon. So if you've got some family members you hate that you would like to see crack their heads open on a side table, this is a perfect gift! ... show more
