It was not too difficult to assemble, but there are a lot of screws. This cabinet arrived earlier than expected & was fairly simple to put together. My only complaint is that the side pieces didn't have pre-drilled holes but other than that it went together quickly. I really like the fact that the doors were already installed & they lined up perfectly. The color (dark brown) goes great on my patio. I did put varnish on it just as added protection. Overall it came well packed and shipped quickly. It was easy to build with one person. The doors were already attached to the frame, making it easy to basically screw 4 sides together, drop in the floor and shelf and screw on the top of the roof. The ONLY downside was the outside dimensions are misleading. The 18.3 is the width of the roof, and the width accordingly. This meant the shelfs are not as deep as I had expected. I’ve put a lot of furniture together in my life but this piece was impossible. I didn’t want heavy duty or expensive …….however. For the absolute lack of pilot holes to align pieces and design to make it difficult to stand to align, not only could I not put this together, it took two professional young men to hold and align everything while screwing it together.
