Installation went about as easy as you can imagine. Got a great custom design out of it you wouldn’t be able to find in stores. My only complaint is the braided wire can easily fray, and it makes it difficult to thread through the holes. I can around it by using an angle grinder to cut/melt the wire into a solid tip.

This trellis kit was perfect for us! The construction is sturdy, substantial and well thought out. It works exactly as they describe in the instructions and is easy to install. As they say, the wire cutters are crucial. We bought Everbilt wire rope and cable cutter, pictured above, from our local Home Depot. The clerk suggested taping the wire ends before cutting to keep them tight and ensure a clean cut- very useful advice. ..... now deciding what vine to select:)

A few were missing the caps so not usable. Need better quality control. I like the professional look they give especially with the cross section locks we used. Wish these held the cables better. Don’t tug with any force, the cable will come out. Hoping they are suitable enough for jasmine. Seem better than the larger ones we also purchased

I have not installed this yet, but I looked it over and am impressed with the system they came up with for easy assembly and adjustment. The cable is decent gauge and seems very strong, and the instructions are well spelled out. I plan to install this on the side of a shed where I have two apple trees planted, to make them into an espalier. Just need to decide on the pattern I want before installing it.

BUYER BEWARE: this trellis system is actually quite difficult to install. You need a drill powerful enough to create the anchor holes—especially if drilling into brick—and you also need some very heavy duty wire cutters as most wire cutters are not near strong enough to make a clean cut on this metal rope wire. I had to go to Home Depot 3 separate times to try to get all the tools I would need to finish the install. After 6 hours I am only about half way done because of the wire issue. Unless you have a super heavy duty rope wire cutter—that can make super clean and tight cuts—there is ZERO chance you can complete this install. I would not purchase this trellis kit if I knew how difficult it would be to install. They really should raise the price and include proper wire cutters with the kit or else this becomes a nightmare.
