The original one I still have had a better reclining system than this one which is a handle on the inside of the seat that is made up of a pull handle attached to wires. The wires are breaking and poke into my leg and will soon break off so i won't be able to recline the chair when it does. I like my old one better but the plastic upholstery is thrashed so I ordered this one thinking it was the same. You have to use your legs to push down the leg rest and it takes tremendous force to accomplish this!! If you have bad knees DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. It takes me 4 to 8 tries to get the leg rest down so am not happy with it. Also the left arm is not securely in and the backrest won't go down all the way. I'll have to scrap this chair because I'm getting knee surgery and need an electric leg rest extender. I've only had this chair 6 months. I love the cup holders and the swivel. Oh and once I leaned back too far and the chair rooted over backwards so the base either isn't big enough or is to lightweight. I didn't get hurt but a lamp fell off a table and 4 pictures broke so there was glass everywhere. DONT LEAN BACK PAST 90 DEGREES BECAUSE IT WILL TO OVER. ... show more

I purchased this recliner two years ago after a knee replacement. It works great. After about three months there was an issue with the control. I contacted the company and they overnighted me a new one. My original intent was just to use it temporarily until I was recovered but it’s very comfortable and I decided to keep it permanently. It is a great value for the price. recently I needed another knee surgery but I couldn’t find a power cord for the recliner. I reached out to them again. They sent me a new power cord at a very reasonable cost, and they send it two day delivery. would definitely deal with this seller again A++++++ ... show more

Recliner was very easy to assemble, came in two medium sized boxes where one was slightly heavier then the other. I was almost able to complete putting it together without the instructions except I misplaced one cord for a bit. The remote is slightly hard to understand but there is guide to help you through it. This chair is comfortable, the material is nice, and it looks nice. Assembly was really easy, it takes 5 minutes. The downside is that the massage feature is awful. I would hardly call this a massage chair at all, all it does it lightly vibrate four areas on the chair. You can get a chair like this or better without the massage function for half the price. You are paying double for a massage feature you will likely never use so my rating is 2/5. If this was half price for a recliner only I'd give it a 4/5. I regret making this purchase, I suppose I should have spent more for a real massage chair but there was no way to know until I tried it. ... show more

First off, I will say that, as a whole, I love this chair and I use it all the time. But there are some things about it that prevent me from giving it five stars. The chair assembles easily.... but it’s almost too easy. Like it seems like it could fall apart with the proper force. Now I live alone and only sit in it by myself, so it hasn’t given me any problems. But if you have kids or something that could horse around on it, beware. I got the protection plan, and I would recommend that if that is your situation. I chose this chair because of all its features and those are what I love about it. It has tons of pockets & cupholders plus it swivels, rocks, and even has a pleasant massage feature. All very worth it, and not features found in just any recliner, certainly not at this price. The chair itself it pretty comfortable, though I have experienced much more comfortable recliners while shopping around. That said, I am satisfied with the comfort level. There is just room for improvement there. Also, the chair has developed an annoying creaking when rocking. I haven’t been able to determine what specifically is causing the creaking yet but it can be fairly loud at times. So I will probably be lubricating the springs, etc underneath at some point to try and address this. So that’s annoying. But overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The features make this chair worth it, but there are some things to look out for here. ... show more
