A friend of mine who is a physical therapist recommended I buy a power lift chair prior to my open heart surgery. I ordered this chair and it arrived the following day. My petite adult daughter assembled the chair for me with no difficulty. (It arrived in two boxes.) The pieces are a base, two sides and a back. No tools were required for assembly. The chair is extremely comfortable. It can recline completely if you wanted to sleep. Unlike other recliners, the headrest is adjustable avoiding the pushing your head too far forward of other chairs. It does a good job of lifting you to a near standing position. When I complete my recovery I will be giving the chair to my 97 year old mother. The price was comparable to a long rental period locally.

I had knee surgery and it worked fine those few moths of recovery but it began to separate seat from back and I had to stuff it. I loved the features but not a wise investment. If it were half this price fine but...no Update! They got in touch with me immediately and all is great! Thank YOU!! Great Company to deal with!

chair is comfotable, looks nice. It does not feel very stable when reclining and makes a noise as if something is binding. I don't know if this will become an issue later. The arm rests feel very flimsy. I wouldn,t use them to push myself up from the chair..

I am currently suffering from a life threatening illness to which this chair has made my life easier to get up and sit down. The price scared me in the beginning but after doing all the research online that I could , I kept coming back to this chair. I ordered on Wednesday received on Friday via FedEx. REMINDER THIS IS 2 BOXES FOR ONE DELIVERY. Box 1 holds the 2 armrests and spare throw pillow and back rest. My 27 year son had no problem carrying this box. The 2nd box holds the base and is quite heavy, requiring 2 people to carry. Putting together was super simple. I watched the video on amazon website which helped. Armrests first, next backrest. Now hook up all wires DONE!! Operation of the chair is piece of cake. Nothing but 5 Stars
