Everything was going fine. Had it about 2 years with pretty minimal use since it wasn't going into a main seating room. Then one day while reclining, it stopped working. The power still worked, but the chair itself wouldn't recline at all. I thought maybe a cord was loose. So I checked the back of the chair to find out all of the cords you self assemble were in place, but instead an internal wire had cut itself. I'm thinking it was being rubbed against while the chair reclined, but due to the placement of the wire there's nothing I could've done about it even if I wanted to. It became a fire hazard at that point if the chair was plugged in so I had to get rid of the chair. All in all it lasted about as long as you'd think a power chair shipped in a box to your home would last, but I wouldn't purchase it again or recommend it. I gave it 2 stars because I did get some use out of it, but this is honestly a one star chair due to the issue. **UPDATE** Customer service was extremely helpful and professional upon hearing of my situation. They pinpointed the wire cut was part of the motor that reclines the chair and offered to send a replacement. Unfortunately I had already gotten rid of it so I wasn't able to capitalize on the offer. I will change my rating from 2 to 3 stars because someone out there may feel confident enough to replace the part. Also, the fact that 2 years out from purchase the company still attempted to remedy the issue was appreciated. However, I cannot go more than 3 stars due to the fact that the wire cutting itself shouldn't have happened at all.

Couch arrived in 4 boxes on a FedEx truck. Pretty simple to assemble but there was one issue. There are 16 plastic feet under this couch, so I thought it would be safe to slide it into place on my freshly laid vinyl plank floor… well, 1 cross threaded bolt was protruding down below the feet. I have a 10” gouge to repair now! Otherwise the couch seems to be pretty nice (so far)

This chair is comfortable, although several aspects of the chair make you well aware that it is a "relatively inexpensive chair in two boxes." If you lean hard on either of the sides when sitting in the chair, they move slightly. When the back reclines, there is a gap between the seat and the back of the chair. The sides don't move and the gap doesn't exist with higher priced recliners (at least not the one my husband uses). I don't think this chair would hold up well to having kids use it a lot because I think too much moving around in it will weaken the already minimal construction. As other reviewers mention, the "massage" feature works fairly well and is strong enough that you can feel it. However, I would prefer different "massage" options. Even though there are 9 configurations (different "pulsing" pattern), I would prefer to be able to separate the back, seat, and footrest vibrations, or at least have options that didn't include all of them. I haven't tried the heat yet, since it's summer. The chair DID arrive in two boxes on two separate days, and although the listing said that, there appeared to be no way to track BOTH boxes. Amazon listed the tracking information for only one box, and after box 1 arrived, I had to just wait and see until box 2 arrived. I thought that was frustrating, although it did arrive within a day or two. Overall, it is a decent chair although the lack of sturdiness makes me think it should sell for $100 less. The convenience of not having to go shopping for a more well-made chair was the selling point for me and I'm not disappointed about that. I'm just curious to see whether it will still be a "decent chair" two years from now. If you are looking for a high quality recliner, this is not it, but if it holds up, it's not a bad choice for some situations.

I am a 63yr old female and I was able to put it together by myself. I like it so much I will be buying the single recliner soon. UPDATE: as with other customers, the vibration/heat stopped working within one month of purchase. I have sent a message to the seller, and I am hoping to get as good of feedback as other customers have. I will update you. The part I needed to fix the problem was received. All I had to do was plug in one wire. Everything is working fine now. I will be buying the single recliner in several weeks. Very good customer service.
