I bought the beige one for my daughter. When it's new, it looks cute! There is a small sparkle in the color when placed under light, but it's not so glittery that you can see it from a distance; it's not that kind of sparkle. However, the finish is flat and matte. Since we bought it in beige, it scratches very easily and my daughter dislikes seeing the scratches. Unfortunately, we always wash it by hand and can't seem to get the scratches off without causing more! If there is something we can do about that, that would be cool. It is easy to handle; however, it does not have a built-in clip. I would recommend buying some metal clips if that works. I also have these reusable bendable straws that I keep for mugs like these. Easily bend inside so easy to close the lid tight. Since it's not my mug, can't say how long drinks are kept icy cold. ... show more

This was a great item to take on a work trip where I knew I would want to keep drinks cold in the hotel room, but would also be easy to carry back and forth and fit in a backpack pocket between the hotel and office. Sadly, I had to toss my $30 bottle at the airport. Even though I thought I had fully emptied the bottle of water before I headed to the airport and got through TSA pre-check once already (I cleared TSA at EWR without being stopped), JFK pulled me and told me I had to get out of the security line to go back and empty (that was not enough of a swig of water to swallow a pill and met the under 1 oz of liquid criteria). Simply no time to do that and catch my flight (which happened after a cancellation at EWR that caused me to have to Uber mad dash to JFK in evening traffic to try to get home). Long story short, I'm still bitter about the travel experience, but I just re-ordered and received the replacement since the bottle worked so well on my trip. Hope someone at TSA is enjoying using my bottle :) ... show more

I bought this bottle for its wide mouth to use as a water bottle that I could easily fill with ice and seals well enough to be thrown around. It has never leaked, but it’s been dropped a few times and doesn’t sit level anymore. Still keeps drinks ice cold for a long time though. It’s also super easy to clean and doesn’t get all gunked up like the other bottles with spring mechanisms, straws, and/or lots of other moving parts.
