    • Decent Chair, but overpriced for the quality

This chair is comfortable, although several aspects of the chair make you well aware that it is a "relatively inexpensive chair in two boxes." If you lean hard on either of the sides when sitting in the chair, they move slightly. When the back reclines, there is a gap between the seat and the back of the chair. The sides don't move and the gap doesn't exist with higher priced recliners (at least not the one my husband uses). I don't think this chair would hold up well to having kids use it a lot because I think too much moving around in it will weaken the already minimal construction. As other reviewers mention, the "massage" feature works fairly well and is strong enough that you can feel it. However, I would prefer different "massage" options. Even though there are 9 configurations (different "pulsing" pattern), I would prefer to be able to separate the back, seat, and footrest vibrations, or at least have options that didn't include all of them. I haven't tried the heat yet, since it's summer. The chair DID arrive in two boxes on two separate days, and although the listing said that, there appeared to be no way to track BOTH boxes. Amazon listed the tracking information for only one box, and after box 1 arrived, I had to just wait and see until box 2 arrived. I thought that was frustrating, although it did arrive within a day or two. Overall, it is a decent chair although the lack of sturdiness makes me think it should sell for $100 less. The convenience of not having to go shopping for a more well-made chair was the selling point for me and I'm not disappointed about that. I'm just curious to see whether it will still be a "decent chair" two years from now. If you are looking for a high quality recliner, this is not it, but if it holds up, it's not a bad choice for some situations. ... show more

This chair has become the best seat in our house. It’s so comfortable. Literally hugs your body when you sit in it and gives support to your whole back and hips. The color matches the rest of our furniture perfectly. It doesn’t take up a lot of room either. The only complaint I have is that you can’t manually do the reclining or sitting up from reclining.     • You don't need to spend $1000+ to get a great powered recliner!

I bought this chair to replace an old recliner and so far, it's great. I received it on August 24th and so far, everything works great. First, the assembly was extremely easy. All of the parts lock together with little or no trouble. The only part I had to press on a little bit was the back but even that didn't take much. The wires are very easy to access and the remotes are very simple to hook up. All you do is match colors and connector types. Second, the material is surprisingly soft for the price point. I have sat in the nude on this chair for a good period of time and it feels surprisingly good on my skin. This feels like a chair that I could actually sleep in, and I don't ever sleep in chairs. Finally third, the functions and adjustments for the powered part of the chair work great. The vibrations hit just the right points and aren't very loud. There's also 9 different settings for the vibration presets. The lumbar heater works okay if you don't have a shirt on, otherwise, you don't really feel it that much. The chair fully reclines in less than 10 seconds and puts you close to flat. Finally the complaints. The arms do move a little bit from side to side, but it's not excessive and isn't a structural weakness. The remote that came with the chair started acting up the day after I got it, however, the seller was very responsive and sent a replacement that showed up less than a week after I messaged him. Finally, the lumbar heater isn't very hot and you pretty much need to be shirtless to really feel it. None of these complaints are major or affected my rating for this chair. Overall, this is an amazing chair that proves you don't need to spent $1000+ on a powered chair to get great quality and comfort. The complaints are super minor and have no bearing on how much I love this chair. If you are looking for a powered recliner with massagers and a heater, this is a must buy. ... show more
