Came in two boxes at the same time. Easy to unpack and assemble. For the price I was impressed especially being it has the motorized headrest a medical must for us. We shopped locally and was shocked at lift chair prices and the very limited availability. This one also heats the lumbar area and has the vibrating feature (never liked feature much). I was pleasantly surprised that the chair foam is fairly stiff giving good support. Extends high enough for good assist in sitting down and exiting the chair. The one big drawback is... This is not a wall hugger.. It might be considered a wall hatter. It needs close to 24inches between chair and wall to go to its recline position (which my wife wishes it reclined a little further) . For us it is a little annoying but for the price and other features we just deal with it. We keep a throw on it because we don't know how the fabric will ware or clean up. The chair is fantastic, mine showed up missing some parts so I thought I would just be told to fly a kite but Elsa responded super fast and sent me the parts. I could not be happier. I like when I buy stuff from good people as good as the chair is which is great I appreciate Elsa and the company more. Thank you for not making this suck. When I have it fully assembled and the study done I'll add a photo, hopefully with me in it wearing my smoking jacket. ... show more

Very pleased with the chair so far. As long as you’re methodical, it’s not hard to assemble. Only thing to make it better would be the ability to have heat only without the massage feature. I figured a work around. You have to start both and then turn off all the massage zones one by one. Would be much more intuitive if they were controlled completely separate. The work around wasn’t hard for me, but challenging for my 87 year old mother-in-law. Overall, very pleased. ... show more

Our daughter, who has Multiple Sclerosis, needed everything this chair promised. We sent for it; a gift for her birthday. She couldn't figure what was in those three large boxes. We put it together and she tried it out...and when she found that it was also a Lift Chair she was way past delighted. Thank goodness that she does not yet need that feature; but it's good to know it will be there and ready to assist her...as promised! ... show more

Update: This company did end up replacing my dad's chair with a working one so I'm very satisfied with that. It took awhile because we had to wait for it to come back in stock and we must have 50 emails back and forth. Only complaint I really have is that all this would have been so much easier if I could have spoke to someone in person instead of sending an email with each problem or question and have to wait a full day for an answer. The second chair was just as nice as the first one and the heat and massage worked, my dad loves it. Well my Dad really, really liked the comfort of the Chair, especially the extended foot rest. Unfortunately the heat or the massage does not work, one of the main reasons we purchased this chair, otherwise we could have bought a regular recliner for a much lower price somewhere else. So I contact the seller ( by email because they don't do tech thru the phone) and they verify we have it hooked up correctly ( which is dummy proof, only certain plugs match to the right plugs) and then tell us they are sending a new remote for the heat and massage to see if that fixes it. Ok, we wait for that and of course it doesn't work either. So 12 emails later they tell me the chair is out of stock for the next 50 days and can't send us anymore replacement parts (REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVENT WORKED). I keep asking if they can send me a new Chair when it comes back in stock but can't get any strait answer, they keep telling me they can send replacement parts when it comes back in stock. I dont want replacement parts, I want a new chair that works, I've made it very clear. It takes them a full day to answer any email, so hear we are still with no answer almost a mth later as to if they will replace the chair when it comes back in stock. Big disappointment because my Dad really liked this chair, and now if he returns it he will be without a chair till we can find a replacement. Also the box it came in was destroyed and taped together when it arrived, so how is he going to return it, let alone have to transport it to a return center ( he's elderly). So while the chair is comfortable their tech/ customer service leaves a lot to be desired. It would be alot easier if I could actually talk to someone in person. So I'm advising you not to buy this chair. ... show more

This company has great customer service! I have had a couple of issues with the remote control and they were very quick to get me a new one and get the issue resolved both times! I do wish the chair leaned back farther, but besides that, we are very pleased with the chair.
