First things first. It's very stable, I'm 6ft. 195lbs and I have more than ample room. Best of all, my feet don't hang over the end of this chaise style footrest. It adjusts electronically with the provided and attached remote, effortlessly. Size and ergonomics are perfect for me. As to durability, only time can answer that question. It's firm, but soft. It's very comfortable. Without any aid, it took about 10 minutes attaching the sides, back and the electronic plugins. Very simple. I ordered this on the 18th I think, and it's the 20th today. While I sit in the very chair and type this review. I ordered this basically for two reasons, I wanted something that wasn't leather for a change, and I needed something that would keep my feet from dangling over the edge when extended out. . Well Done! Oh, the back rest is actually taller than me or any other recliner in my home. All of which came from Rhoades or Haverty's. And cost a great deal more. These are good chairs. Packaged well. Easy to assemble (except make sure the pronged cord is in the right way!). It's all that we hoped it would be. Comfortable. Quiet. Material looks good. Fits 5'10" 200 husband who wants to order a small one for me (5'1")! Looks and feels well-built.

Very comfortable. I ordered this chair to use after surgery. Perfect size for me. I’m still using it after 4 weeks after surgery. Love the usb outlet and cup holders . I use the outside pockets for my kindle. Not too soft but perfect for me. I would highly recommend this chair especially after surgery helping you lift you up. Cones in 2 parts. Life saver after a fall.

A month ago i tripped with my hands full and fractured my shoulder. Before leaving the hospital i bought this because my bed is too tall for me to get out of with 1 arm. Not only has this helped me stand up without using 1 hand, I have been able to sleep in it every night! I am 77, 5' tall and 180 lbs. the medium size is perfect! The arms help me keep my arm still and my cats can get in my lap without hurting me. I would have given this a 5 star..but it doesnt have a battery backup for when power goes out during a storm. Even when my arm is healed i think i might keep it! ... show more

This is an amazing chair. The oversized Power lift recliner is not just comfortable, it was by far the easiest setup ever. I'm so happy and so is my wife. The size is perfect the appearance is true to the picture actually better when you actually get it. This is a heavy-duty and holds weight. We're beyond pleased. Will update in 6mos and 12mos. Update, I had a one off situation with one of my new recliners. The customer service for MCombo is beyond excellent. Swift actions and timely responses. My awesome recliners are still awesome. I really wish I would have purchased the love dual recliner for guests or just to switch it up. Sounds like I know what im doing next ... show more

Have had chair for eight months and love it!!!

The MCombo has been a great chair for me! I am elderly with severe back issues. When the chair arrived, my husband found it easy to assemble. At first I was skeptical after checking the fabric, but it has shown no signs of wear. The navy blue is pretty, too. The chair is easy to operate. It has cup holders which come in handy for other items and side pockets, too. Also, the chair comes in sizes. I am 5’1” and weight 140 lbs. The medium size is perfect. The chair is not as fancy and plush as my previous expensive chair which is a well,-known bran, but the MCombo has provided me with more comfort. ... show more

Suprisingly well engineered and built to last

We bought our first recliner chair from MCombo about 5 years ago, and after heavy usage for all of those years the power assist just started making noise. Likely a plastic gear slipping in the power housing. Instead of simply replacing the power motor, my aging father opted to replace the chair since the padding has worn out a bit as well. I'd say 5 years of heavy usage for this chair is well worth the cost. I was going to rate the initial chair a 5, but the new chair we got to replace the old is even better. The cord management is vastly improved, there's only one power cord now, and there are hooks built into the pocket areas. All upgrades, and to top it off it's over $50 cheaper than when I bought it in 2021. Not all China made products are well engineered but this chair is. Ease of assembly and not having to use tools is a huge plus. I can't recommend this recliner enough. ... show more

Just what we needed

Hubby was going in for heart surgery and post op instructions suggested sleeping in a recliner. Finding one in a hurry in the holiday rush period didn't seem all that doable, but Amazon came through in time. It came in two boxes, and because of a need to isolate from the pandemic, it was up to this little old lady to drag it in and assemble it. I found that there was no way I could actually lift the main seat section, but by leaving it in the box, after removing the lighter pieces, I was able to slide it from the front door to the location in front of the TV and the rest was fairly easy. It took me about an hour to get it up and running, but at least 20 minutes was spent trying to find the wingnut I was ( ahem ) sitting on. I wedged a book under the back feet while I was inserting the bolts, and that gave me a better angle to see and work on it. We love that the remote is tethered (wired) to the chair so it can't get mislaid, and it has only two buttons, nothing that a sick and tired person can't easily figure out. He likes me to put an extra pillow in the lumbar area, but other than that, it's completely comfortable. He's fairly short and not overweight, and possibly this would not be suitable for someone really big, but for us, it's perfect and has a color and style that looks good in our room, just as a fringe benefit. Here's a tip for anyone else who may be getting one of these for a person with a medical condition: I found that a knit baby crib sheet fits nicely over the seat and footrest, and this gives the chair a little protection during this period of heavy use and allows for changing it as you would a bed. He's been sleeping in it every night since he got home 10 days ago, and really appreciates the lift function and the USB charger. It operates so smoothly and quietly that our cat rides the backrest with no sign of distress (results may vary, with regard to cats, and they must always be kept out from under recliners, which is why we didn't have one until now). Added note: If the USB seems to have quit, check to see if it's still plugged in. It's the separate block from the other electrical connections, and it slips out rather easily from the small round connection at the back of the right arm. I may put some tape around it if disconnects again. The other electrical connections have locking mechanisms where they connect to the chair. Another good thing to know is that the remote can lift the chair way up beyond what your user is likely to do. This gives great access under it for cleaning or finding the small objects that may have fallen in the cracks. I wish all our furniture did that. ... show more
