These are by no means the nicest knives I've ever used, but with a little sharpening they are more than capable of keeping up with me in the kitchen. They're built well and hold a sharp edge for several days. Clean up very nicely and the knife block looks pretty sleek on my countertops. Meats or vegetables, makes a clean and easy cut either way. Unlike my previous set, these knives handle very well and I'm not struggling as much with keeping my hands away from the blade, so I'd say they're very good in the safety aspect. For the price, you can't go wrong with these knives. I've even recommended them to friends and family and many of them are very pleased with these as well. So I will say the knives are beautiful 😍 havent used them yet i wanted to leave 5 stars but will not be doing that only for the fact right after i took it out of the box the knife block had a crack in it which spending 90 dollars on kinda sucks.....however i did apparently get this on sale because its now 140 dollars which i wouldn't pay for this. This is actually the second set I've bought of these. I got mine 2 years ago and my mom liked them so much I got her the same set. These have not dulled , rested, broke or bent over the 2 years I've had them. The built in sharpener is a great convenience. I love the weight of them and how well they cut everything. Been looking for a set with some good scissors with them. Pulled out everything washed up the knifes set up block put 12 dried knifes in place then realised I am Missing the utility scissors. 15 piece set with only 14 piece's.

These are beautiful! I love them so much!!! They are all metal (including the handle) so they kind of ting when you get them out of the block or if you hit them on anything but we love them. They are super sharp and everything we were looking for!
