This tent held up in a torrential downpour with NO LEAKS! Hail the size of dimes was falling but no trouble for this tent. Easy setup and tear down makes this essential for beginners. Enough room for 3 people if you do not want to touch. 2 people and it feels like a luxury of floor space. Zippers have held up well through the 4 trips we have taken with it. While others were being washed away (literally tents were being flooded) we were in dry comfort enjoying listening to the rain and wind.

I took this tent to Greenridge State Forest during a rain event where the area got about 3" over two days. I had been camping in the rain before and knew what I was up against so I wanted a more substantial tent. I have wanted an inflatable tent for a while and had a hard time justifying the cost, but you get a lot for your money- and one of the things you get is to stay dry during the rain. There were absolutely zero leaks. The only water that was inside of the tent is what I brought in with me from the outside, which could have been mitigated if I had used the awning that came with the tent. It does not come with poles for the awning, which is a negative, and I tried to make some poles myself while I was out but did not have any success. So plan on buying some tarp poles if you want to use the awning. It weighs about 40lbs and rolls up to the size of a duffle bag. It comes with a manual pump but the 12v one I used for my paddle board worked fine, and was much easier. It has two big vinyl skylights in the ceiling, but having one on the side would be nice in cooler weather so you can see outside and keep some heat in. It has a stove jack and comes with a pad for the stove, but I am going to use the AC portholes to to run a diesel heater. You will also need a 10x15 ground sheet. I had it inflated for two days and the beams did not lose any pressure. This is not a backpacking tent, but if you want to take the family tent camping and are worried about the weather, this tent will meet your needs.

Overall we like this tent, worked well for our short camping trip, liked the size and ability to open the flaps with screens. Rain fly seems somewhat small to keep rain out when you enter or leave the tent. We didn't actually use the car flap to attach to our Subaru Outback when we camped, but it seems to fit okay. Fairly easy to set up but we would greatly recommend a few practice sessions to set it up, AND, take down and packing up, BEFORE actually going camping. Instructions are pretty much useless as your are guided by photos and not much text. Like many products, it seems like the people that write the instructions never actually use the products. That being said, the tent is not that hard to set up, with some practice. Loops do bunch up while inserting the poles so make sure someone hold the tent in the middle (top) to help guide the poles through. All said, we think this tent is a good one and would recommend.

I’m very pleased with this tent. Construction quality is very good. Very easy to set up (inflate). I used an air pump I had and did not use the bicycle pump. Air pump took 4 minutes to completely inflate to 6 psi. Watch YouTube videos on this tent. It’s a solid purchase. It comes with side heater vents, ceiling stove stack opening, and a side electrical entrance slot.

Constantly collapses, not water proof at all. There is no way this is a 4 season tent. I set it up for my kids for the spring and summer and every other day the tent is collapsed in. When it rains, I don’t know where the water comes in but there is always a puddle on the floor. I hate that I bought this, I thought it seemed like a good idea but compression/ expansion of air just kills this tent. 2 stars because it’s easy to set up.

I had really high hopes for this tent based on some videos from YouTube and reviews here. To start I received the tent a day later than the Prime two day but more importantly upon opening the box I noticed the tent was already used. The plastic bag was cut open and when I unrolled the tent it had grass inside. I was hoping it was just a case of “the tent was too big” or something along those lines rather than defect. While inflating (not fully inflated yet) I had to keep helping the tent “pop up” but the right side kept falling back in. I then realized the beams were twisted so I deflated slightly went inside and straightened the beams and started inflating again. Of note**The pump does NOT have a pressure gage on it to know PSI- so getting it to 6 psi would be unknowing unless you have one (which we do). After inflating to 6psi I went in the tent to straighten the canvas cover but noticed the beams on the right were bent. Per instructions on MC Tomount’s website, we slightly deflated again, adjusted and re-inflated once more to no avail. Hoping it wouldn’t affect the structural integrity we decided to do a camp out that night in it. About 6 hours after inflating we noticed the right side of the tent buckling from deflation so we packed up our sleeping bags and went in. In the morning the tent was completely collapsed. Not sure if it was the issue with the beams looking like they were too long for the canvas (uneven from the left side as well) or if there was a hole we couldn’t find but we sent it back unsure if we should chance another 😞 the size was perfect for 4 people and the set up -if not defective- would have been a breeze. Be cautious if you receive an open item. We did report all issues to amazon. Update 4/2026. ** The company reached out after returning the first tent which was defective and offered to send a new tent that had been inspected. We received the new tent quickly and immediately set it up. This new tent inflated within 3 minutes with the included pump. One recommendation is to get a pressure gage. We left it up for a couple nights, one of which rained pretty good. The tent withstood the rain and wind without loosing air. The only thing I noticed was minimal water seepage through a couple of the seams that were not taped. I was able to speak with the company looking for recommended seam sealer. I have not been able to test the tent in rain again but between that and the addition of a $50 rain fly I feel pretty confident it will keep the water out now. Despite the inconvenience of the first tent and the small water seepage on the second, the company has been excellent to work with and seem to really care about their product quality. I will do another update after our next camping trip!

The tent itself seems well made, but I would recommend assembling it slowly until you are confident about the quality. The bungee cord inside one of the poles broke the first time I put it together. It must’ve rubbed against the metal joint and severed it, so be gentle when setting it up. I tied the broken bungee cord back together so I could finish setting it up, but the knot I made doesn’t slide through that section of the pole so it doesn’t hold as tight as it should. I was still able to set it up, but it’s not optimal. I’m hoping the manufacturer will send me a new pole (that would put this review at 5 stars). The rest of the tent (material, construction, design) looks pretty amazing. It’s very roomy and most people can probably stand up in it. Im 5’10” and had plenty of headroom. I bought this to try out with my Tesla. The fit seems good and the trunk opens and closes while attached. With any tent like this, there might be a few small gaps where the tent attaches to the trunk depending on the shape of your vehicle. For the most part, I’m pretty pleased. Again, just hoping to be able to get a replacement pole. UPDATE #1: The seller resolved my issue with the defective pole. Replacement is on the way. Very pleased with the customer service. Changing my star rating to 5 stars. Tent looks great, quality seems good, and happy with customer service/warranty. UPDATE #2: Used the tent on a recent camping trip. We had some light rain and the tent held up fine. It was very easy to detach the car from the tent for day trips. I love that I could open/close the hatch while the tent is attached. Can't wait for the next camping trip to use it again.

So far seems nice! There’s a few discoloration spots on my specific tent that I have no clue how it got there. They were there right out of the box. (Does not come with poles to set up the front canopy area, I had to buy separately) Will update if anything negative happens to it while in use.
