Our 5 year old great grandson loved this keyboard when he opened it on Christmas Day. It is amazing the different things that this small item can do. Of course he loved the microphone. There were more expensive keyboards online but his age and lack of music ability this should do the job. Can't comment on durability but the quality looks good and functionality. It's a good starter keyboard for children. It's somewhat durable. Unfortunately the microphone stopped working after a couple of days. (I will admit that my nephew was putting on his lips.
