For the money they perduce great sound, but you have to put a lot of power behind them to get that clean crisp highs with the thump you want from the base, nice midrange as well.

I purchased two sets of these speakers for my side by side. I am very happy that I did. MB Quart is one of the best names in the audio business. These speakers sound great when connected to an amplifier. I paired them with an amplifier and I couldn't be happier with the sound quality. And the price that I paid for them makes them an even better pick. The price, the sound quality, and the overall construction make them one of the best speakers on the market! Preface: This isn’t to say these don’t sound good, they do sound better that not having rear speakers for a year. So take this as “don’t expect greatness.” Got these is, first time installing speakers in a car. Desoldered my old speakers and installed some connectors for these. Got them connected and the one on the left rounds pretty good. The right speaker has this slight interference sound to it. Like back in the day when someone would make a phone call near a car antenna. It’s a low hiss on everything. I figured maybe they need to warm up so I’m giving them another day or so before deciding if they’re bad, but I’ll say they’re fine for what I paid, but another $20 could have gotten a better name.     • Good speakers for the money, the plastic grills are cheap and are prone to crack
Ordered a pair, they arrived with a damaged grill. Exchanged them for another pair and when installing the pair, the grill cracked. The plastic is simply too thin. The sound of the speakers is good, this is a boat installation, so bass is more important than clarity- they fit the bill
