Blanket's high quality and endures the washer well. I hang it to dry and then throw it in the dryer for 10 minutes afterward instead of drying it all the way in the dryer to help it last longer. Absolutely no threading yet and it's one of my favorite blankets. It's a bit on the "rougher" (for lack of a better word) side but its by no means uncomfortable in my opinion. It's also a little heavy so it's nice when you want some envelopment. Highly recommend. BTW I wrote this review a few months after I received it. Edit 2/18/23: I still love this blanket to the ends of the earth but a NOTE FOR CAT OWNERS - if your cats knead on blankets or just play in them, their claws may pull out some threading. This happened to me. It's nothing crazy, blanket is still high quality. It just affects appearance mostly. ... show more

The only downside is the lint it sheds after the first wash, but that's a minor inconvenience that can be fixed with elbow grease and a lint roller. It's exactly what it looks like. I bought it to have a sort of a couch cover. Even with an 80 pound dog it's holding up nicely. It has a couple snags but that can't be avoided with a dog. If you miss the peir one 90's celestial things buy this, you won't be disappointed!
