Blanket's high quality and endures the washer well. I hang it to dry and then throw it in the dryer for 10 minutes afterward instead of drying it all the way in the dryer to help it last longer. Absolutely no threading yet and it's one of my favorite blankets. It's a bit on the "rougher" (for lack of a better word) side but its by no means uncomfortable in my opinion. It's also a little heavy so it's nice when you want some envelopment. Highly recommend. BTW I wrote this review a few months after I received it. Edit 2/18/23: I still love this blanket to the ends of the earth but a NOTE FOR CAT OWNERS - if your cats knead on blankets or just play in them, their claws may pull out some threading. This happened to me. It's nothing crazy, blanket is still high quality. It just affects appearance mostly. ... show more

This blanket is gorgeous and I love it so much, but I have had it for a month and it already has lots of pulled threads and looks very used. I don’t have pets or kids, so this is from normal light use. Everyone in the reviews is raving about the quality, but the quality is cheap compared to how they used to make them. I have 30 year old blankets that are holding up better than this. That being said, I would still probably purchase again, because I do love the look, the size and the weight of it. ... show more

It's exactly what it looks like. I bought it to have a sort of a couch cover. Even with an 80 pound dog it's holding up nicely. It has a couple snags but that can't be avoided with a dog. If you miss the peir one 90's celestial things buy this, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely love this. It is very beautiful. Hefty, but soft, cotton fabric. It has held up well being washed a couple of times in a washing machine (cold water), and dried in a clothes dryer. The colors have not run and it did not shrink. Very happy with my purchase.
