This lift is great! I was a bit skeptical because of the price but I am fully satisfied. It went together pretty easily, took us under 4 hours. The directions are a bit sketchy, I recommend you watch the assembly video on the Mayflower website. It's not hard to figure out, if you are enough of a mechanic to want a lift you won't have any problems. Note, Chinese-made lifts such as this are available for 40% less on sites like Alibaba. 4 to 6 months shipping time, though. Lift very is good and solid. Took some time to get the level just right and to assemble and adjust the safety release mechanism. With the time to make it just right. Oil was easy to find at Home Depot. Drip pans were damaged during packaging, and seller was no help. They said contact shipping company but it was obvious the damage was due to poor packaging. They are still usable.     • Lifts anything within lift limits, extremely sturdy and built with high quality.
I disliked the ramps, because it has to be taken on and off every time . I loved the fact that the quality is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. This ramp also could use a 2nd internal jack to lift the wheels off the ramp, when ramp is off the floor. BUT ALL IN ALL, THIS LIFT IS AWESOME, AND HAS NO PROBLEMS OR .ECHANICAL ISSUES. ... show more

This lift is exactly as described by other happy customers. It arrived on time and in good shape. Had a friend bring his skidsteer with forks to unload it. After 6 hours and help from my wife to raise the engine hoist lifting the pieces it was assembled and raising my car.

    • Installation was a bit by the seat of my pants.
All in all a decent lift. Installation instructions are an absolute disgrace. Even the install video is not descriptive. My break lever was bent. And the springs to return the break catch is not wound tight enough and needs to be assisted to latch. There is no electrical plug on the end you have to spice one and the wires are not labeled to easily identify. The bracket for the motor was welded onto the pillar the wrong way so I only have two bolts holding the motor in place. It does get the job done and is not a bad choice for a low cost lift. ... show more
