Very strong high Quality & comfortable best toilet best ever
Size: Round
Color: Chrome
I bought this Mayfair Bennett Toilet Seat and I am very impressed. This is a very strong and durable product. The material is high quality, heavy duty and not cheap plastic. Very easy to install, took me only 10 minutes. The seat is very comfortable, doesn't move or slide. Hinges are metal and very strong. It looks very premium and looks good in bathroom. Easy to clean as well. For the price, this is the best value. If you need a strong, long-lasting toilet seat, buy this one without any doubt. I will buy again!

Perfect seat at a good price
Size: Round
Color: Chrome
However you view shopping for a replacement toilet seat (unpleasant bore, amusing novelty, engaging research project), based on my shopping experience, I heartily recommend you halt your search here and just purchase this Mayfair model 26CHSL 000. This seat has the best overall appearance and function of several that I've tried, and it sells in the popular price range. The seat is the only one whose enamel finish exactly matches the white porcelain of my American Standard (other seats appeared just slightly ivory-tinted compared to the porcelain under good skylight). The hinges have a solid robust build, very securely attached at all points, and with a perfect chrome finish that should match your chromed flush handle. The installation is simple and eliminates the potential for loosening up later. The "slow close" feature (which I never knew I wanted before I tried this seat) works perfectly. Simply put, the seat appears and performs exactly right, at a good price. Some reviews reported cracks, corrosion, etc. Admittedly, such reviews at first put me off this model. However, in the end my shopping experience led back to this Mayfair 26CHSL 000. The reported flaws are probably quality control issues applicable to a very small percentage of seats coming off the line. Virtually all flawed seats get reported here compared to the small minority of satisfied customers who leave reviews.

So far, so good. Let's hope it lasts.
Size: Elongated
Color: Matte Black
Searched for months for a replacement to our previous Church Elongated Soft Close Toilet seat that had cracked and the soft close mechanism had given out long ago. Lots of options but almost all had universally bad or mixed reviews. Finally decided on this model and so far, it's been great. Install is a breeze, it's sturdy with no movement, the fit and finish are about as good as it gets. The soft close works real well so far and we'll see how long it lasts. It's easy to clean, and as a bonus, it seems to be warmer than the previous seat as it doesn't seem to soak up the cold from the cold water in the tank.

Quality coated wooden toilet seat with nickel hardware
Size: Round
Color: Brushed Nickel
I’ve been changing out the dated fixtures updating the 1980’s decor slowly over time. Personally I have been less than satisfied with many of the thermoplastic and polypropylene seats I’ve used. I was wanting a more substantial seat that would hold up over time. After much research (I know I must be sick going down every rabbit hole researching a toilet seat) I found that the Mayfair wooden seat seemed to be a high quality choice. It’s a toilet seat so I didn’t want to spend a fortune but it’s something that gets used daily and cradles a sensitive area so I did want something quality that wouldn’t move around when used. I liked that this came in a round shape for my Plebe toilets and had brushed nickel hinges giving it a clean modern look. The seat was straight forward and easy to install with included plastic nuts. The white finish was smooth which should make for an easy to clean and sanitize experience. It also has a no slam hinge which makes for more quiet use on an en-suite bathroom. Overall I’m quite pleased I was able to find a substantial seat for the bathroom throne.

Fantastic toilet seat
Size: Elongated
Color: Gold
I am so impressed with the quality of this toilet seat for the price. I was truly not expecting how well this is made. And the ease of putting it on is beyond any other toilet seat we have ever had is sturdy, substantial, and works even better than I thought it would. When I was installing the seat and tightening the nut at the bottom, the bottom piece broke off, and I assumed I had tightened it too much and broke it. However, when I read the instructions further, it explicitly said tighten until the bottom portion snaps off. What a relief! And so when I put the second one on, I knew exactly when it was tightened enough. I can’t say enough about how well this toilet seat is made and how well its functions. Do ! And so when I put the second one on, I knew exactly when it was tightened enough. I can’t say enough about how well this toilet seat is made and how well it’s functions. Do yourself a favor if you need a toilet seat by this one.

Arrive in NIB but scratched & parts broken
Size: Elongated
Color: Gold
I opened this brand new box & removed the seat from an internal plastic liner, only to find the seat hinges were already scratched and the gold had completely come off. It's not too terribly important, however the included hardware was sealed up inside the box with it, and somehow one of the gaskets that holds the bolt to the actual bowl, was broken. The instructions are pretty clear. When you're assembling this for install, the bolts are not connected to the seat so of you don't (or can't) hand tighten the bolts into the hinge assembly, who knows what will happen. Then, complicate that with plastic gaskets that are so flimsy that they can brake during shipping, even inside a super sturdy box. My order came completely intact and there were no dents in the box, so I have no idea how they broke in the first place. I have no confidence in the sturdiness of the plastic gaskets. I contemplated contacting the company directly, but their own support info states that if the hardware isn't included, return the whole package to the retailer. That's stupid. Extra plastic gaskets should be included in case of things like this. Such a waste of shipping for a small piece of plastic. I didn't go any further than unboxing everything, as per the manufacturer, I have to return the whole thing due to broken hardware (not missing). I guess this protocol was put in place because their customer service doesn't have a way to send out only replacement parts. So disappointed..
