At about 7 months cranking was noticeably slow - once it caught the voltmeter showed a correct 14.8 volts from the charging system. We use a Deltran Battery Tender during periods when not used which can be a couple of weeks at a time. The battery at 9 months has pooped out. Tester shows "poor". Not enough power to crank. I contacted UPLUS for warranty service & I received answer within hours. They asked for shipping info for a replacement- that's excellent service. I woke up this morning and had the fedex tracking number and really could not ask for better Customer Service. Sent 2nd day Saturday delivery the new battery tested perfectly out of the box and is in the bike and we are rolling. Couple of install tips- if you have trouble with the nuts under the poles, slide a little piece of rubber rubber/vacuum hose under to hold them while you work the nut driver. A piece of nylon strap looped under the battery will make easier lower into place & to remove- a piece cut off a ratchet strap is perfect, we all have those. Original review Nov 2022: Battery arrived yesterday. Courier didn't know what they had and it was delivered upside down- no idea how it was handled for it's 1500 mile ride. *(manufacturer says it's ok) It was dry inside the carton/styrofoam. Nothing felt "loose" Although label was clean the case has a number of scratches and skuffs- maybe recycled ? Others have reviewed weak terminals, mine are secure and tight. Voltage as delivered was 12.2. I charged overnight at 2 amps and voltage settled at 13.3 Installation was easy I have a nylon strap under my old battery to make removal easy ( 2009 FLHTC) I used cut off pieces of vacuum hose to hold the nuts in position, cleaned the cavity and dropped the battery in using my strap Attach the positive cable and the connector for my battery tender. ( this way you don't need to worry about sparking if your wrench hits the frame) Then attach the cables to the negative terminal. The HD has a battery cover, back in place Then replace seat. I will update as to whether this $80 battery has a reasonable service life. ... show more

I have only had this battery for about one month, so time will tell. It was shipped quickly as promised and the packaging was first rate for the interior battery box. The large outer box was damaged dramatically during shipment but there was no evidence at all of damage to the battery itself. If it performs as advertised it will have been a very good value. The specifications are slightly better than the OEM battery that originally came with my off-road vehicle that this is used on. Worked well out of the box, went dead after 2 weeks and would not take a charge a month in to install. No electrical issues on the machine. May have just been luck of the draw. *EDIT: A solution was offerd to me by a great customer service representative, looking forward to a resolution.
