I’ve always used Maybelline Great Lash, Pink bottle Green Top for over 10 years and my mom still uses the same mascara since I’ve been a little girl, we love all Maybelline Products, but I decided to try something new, The Colossal Mascara, It does lengthen your eyelashes to a point where it looked like I had on Falsies lol, my issue is the brush,it’s to big and thick for my tiny lashes, so I used one of my disposable eyelash brushes and that worked well and once my eyelashes lengthened that’s when I used the Colossal brush, my lashes did clump up they started sticking together, if you apply too much the mascara is waterproof but it takes a long time to remove the mascara. I’ll stick to my Maybelline Great Lash.

I adore mabeline products. I have bought many in my 49 years! I needed a waterproof mascara for an upcoming vacation. It is a trusted brand and this waterproof mascara had a great price point. My expectation was that it would be waterproof and apply well. It is waterproof without a doubt. It does live up to the hype as far as not running or smearing when wet. However, This powerhouse waterproof mascara does not apply to my lashes well on the first pass. Very little product catches on the wand. I have to use three or four passes to get the desired product I want, and I'm not talking caking it on!! If you want a light coat that is waterproof, go for it!! But it would be a no for me in the future.

This is my favorite mascara! Ive been using it for years! I used to have long and full eyelashes but I've noticed a lot of thinning in the last years (I'm in my late 30's plus diagnosed hashimoto's) , and this mascara gives me the confidence boost i need. The waterproof one won't run, and I take it of easily with micellar water.
