This review is coming from someone who rarely leaves reviews but this product has hands down deserved to be pointed out. I had medium low to low expectations for this product and was mostly looking for an eyelash conditioner to coat and protect my disappearing lashes. I have been using it semi regularly for almost a year now and was originally happy that my lashes were at least somewhat 'there' and visible when I applied the product. A few months of using it had passed, and I noticed what I thought was impossible without serious intervention: My eyelashes had grown back and are now both fuller and longer than before. They are of course not what they used to be in my 20ies and 30ies, but I am overjoyed with the progress. And there were no side effects.

It is hard to tell whether I am applying the product or the tube is empty. I am going by faith that there is product in there getting on my lashes -- I don't see anything and I don't see any improvement in thickness or length. My lashes are essentially invisible without mascara. However, I have discovered that not everything works for everybody, and often when something does work, it takes a long time to see results. Since it seems to be doing no harm, I guess I will continue until I deem it must finally be gone, then re-evaluate. (I must admit that I am not diligent about the twice-a-day regime. I get it on once a day and maybe twice every three days. Perhaps that accounts for no results after a month.) Nearly a year later: I bought 2 tubes of this initially and am just now getting to the end of the second tube, so this does last a long time. My application continued throughout at once a day, with a couple of periods of a week or two of completely forgetting to use it. I do not think my lashes are longer or fuller and certainly not darker, but they do seem to be softer in the morning after having used it the previous night. I know, that should equate to "thicker" since you'd think there would be less breakage if less brittle, but if so, it is subtle. I do think that for a young person the results might be more dramatic, though. (There is only so much a senior, post-menopausal body can accomplish!)

For some reason in the past few years, my eyelashes have gotten thinner and shorter. I’ve always had long and thick lashes, even though they always pointed straight down, and I would have to use a eye curler before I put mascara on. I never had a problem with any lashes until recently. And I have tried a lot of the well-known more expensive lash serum’s, and out of the six I’ve tried five of them caused horrible irritation on my eyelids underneath my eyes that I was afraid was going to be permanent because it took so long for it to go away. So I decided to try this one because it was well rated on Amazon and people seem to have good results from it and so far. I’ve been using it every morning and night and I think it’s helped a little bit. I think my lashes are a little bit longer, but the thing is, is it doesn’t sting my eyes. Nothing burns if I accidentally get a teeny bit in my eye, even though you should try not to, and I have no reaction to the serum. Whereas with like I said, the over-the-counter but more expensive brands that are advertised, turned my eyelids, and underneath my eye area, purple and red and yellow and spider veins. It was horrible! So I’m just grateful this product seems really safe at least for me and I’m just gonna keep using it and it might take a few tubes because you never know… But so far so good I would recommend people give it at least a try because it’s less expensive than those other brands and some of those other brands I think are too harsh in my opinion anyway. Some people skin is more sensitive than others.
