And I wouldn't wear any other kind because it always rubbed off throughout the day, and I don't know I'm just not a huge fan of having mascara all over my face. I have been trying different mascaras to find one that gives me fullness and is still soft, lasts through the day and is easy to remove. Yeah, I ask a lot from a little tube. But I think I finally found it! Two coats is the most I need to apply and there is no flaking. And it really does remain soft. I can't stand that heavy, hard plastic feel that many mascaras have. The look is quite natural. My hair stylist even noticed my lashes and asked what I was using and if I had gotten extensions! Pretty good for a "drug store" brand! It also washes off easily. And as enamored as everyone is with those mascaras that come off in "little tubes" I don't like how those tubes stick to my sink, cementing to the sides. HOLY GRAIL MASCARA!! I have been using this for two years. It is the most incredible mascara I have ever used. For me, nicely done eyelashes are a must. This formula takes some getting used to. I apply a few swipes, comb through with an old wand and then wait a few seconds before adding more. I get incredible results, ranging from natural looking to night out. It's very versatile. You have to be patient and good at mascara to get this to work well; you cant just quickly dab it on the lashes. I usually spend about 5 minutes getting it just right. And it STAYS ON. I have gone swimming with it on and it rarely comes off. After swimming underwater it doesn't clump my lashes either- this isn't even the waterproof version. It is a tad hard to get off at night, as it takes more than just water. I use lotion on a cottonball and it works like a charm to remove any residue. I have never experienced eye irritation because the staying power is so amazing, The only time it's ever shed is when I used a 6 month old one in a pinch. The lashes also aren't stiff, theyre pretty flexible with it on. I've tried so many mascaras and this one can not be beat. Although I do have naturally dark and full lashes already (and am young) , so not sure how it would work on older people with shorter, more sparse lashes. Would absolutely recommend to anybody, though. Cannot say enough good things. This is by far my favorite mascara! I'd like to say I am a beauty guru. I try anything and everything under the sun when it comes to beauty products (hair, makeup, skincare, etc). My eyelashes aren't very thick, therefore, they seem to be weighed down very easily. Because they are so thin, they also seem to lose there curl very easily. I have tried so many different mascara and eyelash curls and it never seems to make a difference. However, this mascara is different. This leaves your eyelashes looking very natural but more full. The formula is NOT heavy at all. It doesn't flake like a lot of other mascaras. I wore this on my wedding day. I couldn't be happier! ... show more

I can't believe I finally found a mascara I don't hate! I actually love this stuff & it's awesome! It goes on smoothly, no clumping or smudging. I've loved it since I got it, but the thing that prompted this review is that I put my makeup on (including mascara) yesterday morning, fell asleep before I could wash my face & at 9pm TODAY finished a full workout at the gym - weights & 45 minutes on the elliptical & mascara looks great! This is my favorite mascara but it is getting almost impossible to find in local stores. I'm so glad that Amazon has it available. I've used this for years and love how it doesn't run, thickens lashes, is non- irritating and is easy to remove with lotion. I'm at that stage in life (68) where I use no makeup except mascara. As one gets older, lashes tend to look nonexistent. It is nice to give my lashes a little subtle color when I go out without looking garish. ... show more

This mascara is amazing. I've been using this product for 10+ years and I will never use anything else. I've tried premium brands such as Clinique, Too Faced, and Urban Decay mascaras and I always come back to this one. It does a great job at making my lashes look fuller and longer, without making them look clumpy. It truly is water proof and you will need to use a remover to get it off. I’ve used this mascara for over 10 years and I love it. Here and there I’ve tried out more expensive brands, but always end up coming back to this. The formula works well for my eyelashes and I love the wand. I don’t care for silicone wands, I like the bristle wands for a more thorough, full eyelash coverage. Another review said something about how it takes time to achieve full, beautiful mascara coverage, and I totally agree. With a couple of coats of this mascara and 1-3 min per eye (lol, some eyelash days are better than others) I achieve a very full look. You can’t beat the price of this mascara even in the stores, so finding it on Amazon with subscribe and save is just an added bonus to an already overall wonderful product. ... show more
