Added this topper to a bed-in-box type queen mattress. It's a bit on the firm side and seems to have added to the comfort of the original mattress. Oddly, though, it's cut oversize by an inch or so all around. The result is that our mattress pad doesn't fit right and I feel like I'm going to roll off the edge of the bed. I don't see how we can trim it ourselves, and it would be impossible to return it. Took 2 days to get rid of the packaging smell. The topper has 2 different sides one a bit firmer than the other, which is nice. Stays put under the fitted sheet and is comfortable.
