I was looking for a comforter that had a pattern that would fit into the rest of my Medieval/Renaissance designed home decorating. Finding the right Middle Eastern, Indian, Moroccan, Turkish styles are proving to be more and more difficult. This particular design was close enough to the mark, although the surface is a bit too 'shiny'; I would have preferred more of a cotton finish. The extra pillowcases and smaller pillows were a nice little bonus. It's not as 'thick' or 'fluffy' so as to provide warmth; this appears to be more of an esthetic look, as opposed to a more utility use. It came in a vacuum sealed packet to keep it flatter in the packaging, with directions to put it in the dryer on a medium setting for about 30 minutes, which returns it to a more fluffier status. The package arrived fairly quickly and left at the doorstep as instructed.

I have always bought Croscill comforters pillows etc. This time I decided I was tired of paying over 300 for bedding. I saw this set and thought I'd give it a try...and I'm so glad I did! Its beautiful. Croscill was so heavy...this comforter is lighter and I like it better! Quality? Fantastic. I've had no problems. AND its machine WASHABLE! Croscill I had to dry clean. The picture looks like it has purple in it....mine is more dark red and brighter gold so at first I thought it was the wrong one. Anyway....its an amazing price and you'll love it! Oh and the pillows? They are packed in there...once you unpack gove them a little massage and they remember their shape! Lol. I highly recommend this set.

It came very wrinkled in the package and remained so even after a week of trying to remove them with a spray bottle of water. I finally got my ironing board out and spent over an hour carefully running a warm iron over the spread and pillow cases. The result: fabulous! We live in an extremely hot and dry desert locale and so we roll it back and don't use the spread most nights. But in the winter, we do pull it up on cold nights and it's cozy. It's more lightweight than our previous spread, which was similar but had a wool component. This is pure polyester. We separately purchased 28" sq. Euro pillows to go in the 26" square euro shams. I took the recommendation of a pillow seller to buy slightly larger pillows so they fill out the shams. We added a wine-colored beaded pillow for variety. I love making the bed by folding over the top of the comforter to reveal the lustrous brown color on the reverse side. We have a ridiculous number of pillows, ah, but wth, we love the look. We also didn't use the bed skirt because our bed frame is a wood box style. It's very high quality for a <$100 set! I have another similar red- and brass-colored one in the guest bedroom, which is more woolen; that one is too warm for actually sleeping under in a warm locale. This one is perfect. We don't have pets but I can say the fabric does pull and fray if you aren't careful. We have a spot or two that pulled on the pillows after a year but have been very careful not to abuse the fabric. P.S. After about a year of putting the pillows on and off every day and night, the seams and tassels on the pillows began to rupture and fall off. We took the pillows to a tailor and for about $40 they reattached the tassels and sewed up the seams. A small price to pay because it was so affordable to begin with.

Weight and color perfect! From Reviews I thought it would snag easily but I don’t think it will. I love the size! We have a king bed with a super thick mattress. At 110” wide it just barely covers mattress on both sides. Anything smaller would have been too small. Another 2-4” wide would have been perfect but never seen one that big. As for pulling, I’m sure it will if we test it. But with minimal care it looks like it will hold up well. Although, we just a got a new puppy so we are not going to risk putting it on the bed till he stops chewing.

The media could not be loaded. The good: There’s only one thing I like about this, and that’s the size. I have an 18 + inch , deep plush mattress, and this gives enough room to cover the whole thing without covering the bed skirt. A lot of comforters are not quite big enough to cover that sz mattress ; ie: when they are shown as Full/Queen or a smaller Queen. I measured what I’d need and this was correct size. Now for the bad: The colors aren’t even close to the picture shown, I was expecting more areas with the lighter tan/off white, with the teal and brown, as shown in the item pictures. These colors are actually quite dark. The only reason it shows a bit lighter on my picture, is from the flash. Not liking color at all!! The whole thing has fuzzy type “shredded threads”, not quite sure the best way to explain. You can see them per video I posted. Like I’m going to have to go over the whole thing gently with scissors, and hope it doesn’t catch on these “threads” or fall apart. Not looking forward to the first washing, scary to think what will happen. It all came in 2 vacuum sealed plastic bags, and one was the pillows. I have been trying to fluff the pillows, but they are just flat. Only way to fluff I guess would be to open them up and add more stuffing. The other sealed bag for comforter , is what I believe caused so so many wrinkles.

Brand new bed, brand new comforter set. Came in shrink wrap. I was shocked that everything was in the small box. Still waiting for wrinkles to fall out. Love the colors. The Euro Shams and back side of comforter is brown. Hard to tell from professional pictures. You will love this set!
