Does not flatten after we sit on it. I’m able to lean back the chair no problem. To me, the backing of chair stays up, does not lean back. I bought this for my 10 year old. When the product arrived, it was well packaged and smaller than I expected. Once I opened the plastic wrap, it extended to a good size. I let it sit for 2 days following the instructions provided. The chair is a little heavier that I expected so I have to help my kiddo move it from one space to another. When I laid down on it, I was able to fully extend (I’m 5’4) & have about 3 more inches extra, and to my surprise, it is rather comfortable. In my opinion, it’s not super soft but not firm. She has slept in this and says she sleeps comfortable. When you fold the chair back up, it is small - it fits my kid perfectly but a little snug for me. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and I hope this product is well made to last a good while. ... show more

I LOVE THIS THING. So soft and well cushioned. Perfect for an apartment sized living room. I love taking little nappy naps when extended and Hamilton enjoys it as well. It is a bit heavy!! I have a bad back and to extend it and put it back takes a small bit of effort. But it’s worth it!

Very happy with this purchase! The chair is super soft and is big enough for an adult to sit comfortably. It’s also very sturdy and thick enough to be able to sleep on it. It is heavy, but it’s easy to move around for convenience. Would recommend.

Mid. Would I order it again - No. Is it worth trying to figure out a return - No. I did see it was heavy in other reviews but didn't connect how difficult it made any use of the fold out fuction. I got this for my son and he can't do it (at almost 10), he ended up tipped under it (it's not heavy enough for any pain or damage but finding him stuck under it highlighted I should have stuck with a beanbag). As a chair it's comfortable for him. For me it's small. It does get him off of the big dog bed he'd lie on while I'm in my office but overall the only enthusiastic fan is my dog. ... show more

We bought two of these for our kids' playroom. They are made of solid, dense foam with a soft, furry fabric. The color is a neutral grey, easy for any decor. The size and height are definitely more suitable for small children, great for my 5 and 11 year olds. One con is that the seat cushion is slanted downwards and very firm.
