This Tri Fold Mattress is a really practical and versatile addition to our home. It’s excellent for guests on short stays and also works great as a comfortable spot to lay down and watch TV in the living room. At 4 inches thick, it provides a good balance of softness and support. It’s not meant to replace a full traditional mattress for long term use, but for a night or two, it’s absolutely comfortable enough. The foam feels supportive without completely flattening under weight, and it does a solid job distributing pressure for casual sleeping or lounging. I also appreciate how easy it is to use. There’s no assembly required just unbox, unfold, and give it time to fully expand. The triple fold design makes it simple to convert from a flat sleeping surface into a compact, stacked seat for daytime use. When folded, it’s easy to store in a closet or tuck into a corner. In our case, we managed to have a box that fit it perfectly so this one is being wrapped in a plastic bag and placed in the attic until we want to use it or we get visitors. The built in handles are a thoughtful touch, making it easy to carry between rooms or simply tuck it away to the side after use. The corded fabric has a nice texture and feels soft to the touch. The tufted design helps keep everything evenly in place when using bed sheets and the black color is vibrant enough to make it a good looking piece just without any bed sheets. Overall, this is a great solution if you need flexible, space saving sleeping space. This corduroy folding mattress is quite versatile and can be used in many different ways. We ordered this item to use as spare bedding for guests and to use as extra seating as well. The bright blue corduroy cover is easily removable, machine washable, and super soft. It zips all around and stays securely in place. The mattress can be folded in several positions, with the tallest configuration at 16 inches. It is pretty low to the ground, so it doesn’t work well as a couch. It is more like a large floor ottoman. I chose to place it at the foot of our king size bed and I added some matching cushions on top for back support, as its back support is way too low to provide a place to rest my back. It looks minimalistic, sleek and modern, while the beautifully textured fabric adds a touch of warmth to the room. The mattress is lightweight and the fabric handles are convenient to lift it, carry it and move it to different areas. The fabric does attract pet hair, so if you have pets, you may want to reconsider, since the fabric is wrapped all around this mattress. It is very comfortable to sit on and to sleep on, and it does not sink in much with an adult’s weight. The price seems reasonable and competitive for this type of quality product.

It's thin, which makes it a bit too short to be a good ottoman. I do love the color, and the bi-fold ability of the top cushion, making it a couch like seat for the kids. I bought this to use as extra sleeping space in my little tiny house, I wanted to be able to use it as an ottoman, and then as a bed when needed, as we have a very uncomfortable couch. Well, the third night it was in our house, my daughter got sick and was puking all night, to keep from waking my husband (who has to leave for work at 6am) I slept on this in the living room with my daughter on the couch. OMG, it was awful. I felt like I might as well have been on the floor with nothing under me! My hips hurt and my shoulders hurt, needless to say, it was a very long night.

I’ve had my eye on the MAXYOYO Folding Mattress for a while, and after seeing it in person, I agree that it’s a decent find especially since this brand can be a bit hit-or-miss. This specific 4-inch tufted model feels like one of their better efforts for casual home use. The kids absolutely love it, and it’s become the go-to spot for movie nights or just hanging out. Even though it’s only 4 inches thick, the combination of the foam and the corded fabric provides a surprisingly comfortable surface for lounging. It’s perfect for a tri-fold floor couch setup during the day, and it easily transitions into a guest bed or a portable camping mat when needed. The tufted design isn’t just for looks; it helps keep the filling in place so it doesn't get all lumpy after a few uses. I really appreciate the integrated handles, which make moving a Queen-size mattress much less of a chore than you’d expect. The black corduroy fabric feels durable enough to handle some roughhousing from the kids, though it does tend to pick up lint, so a quick once-over with a roller every now and then keeps it looking sharp. Like most mattress-in-a-box products, it arrives vacuum-sealed. I’d recommend giving it a full 48 hours to expand properly before letting the kids jump on it to ensure the foam reaches its full loft. Once expanded, it’s a great space-saver it folds up neatly to fit in a corner or under a bed when the guests head home.
