I measured my duvet before I ever picked a size insert. Those who say “theirs didn’t fit” in reviews obviously didn’t measure. This is top quality worth every dollar. As far as noise, I didn’t find it crunchy or noticeable with a a noise at all. It’s heavenly, breathable and so cozy! I won’t buy another brand. Ordering two more. This down comforter is extremely well made. The stitching is solid, the material encasing the feathers is thick so that no feathers poke through, and the separate pockets are stitched properly so there's no shifting of the down or feathers. The duvet is pristine white, though I do keep mine in a duvet cover. It arrived vacuum-sealed but was easy to fluff up by tossing it in the dryer on low for twenty minutes, and it was easy to insert into our duvet cover. The corners of the duvet all have sturdy loops so the cover can be tied into place and the duvet doesn't shift. This duvet is also oversized, so it fully fills my king size duvet cover and stops the "one of us stealing from the other" scenario that keeps happening with our other, standard-sized king duvet. I chose the lighter cover since I have a heavier one for winter that's been too warm in the summer. This one has a nice weight to it that indicates quality (and the genuine feather smell), but it's the perfect fill to keep us cozy during warmer days without making us sweat. My husband and I truly love this, and are debating giving away our winter one to get a heftier version from this brand. It really is that wonderful.

I ordered the oversized Queen and it is perfect. It comes squished in a box and is pretty heavy. I took it out and let it rest overnight then I put it in the dryer for 15 minutes on touch-up. I had noticed when I took it out of the box that the fabric felt very sturdy, soft and smooth. When it came out of the dryer it was all fluffy. We put it on the bed and it covers the bed very nicely with enough extra that it feel luxurious. It is like a weighted blanket and that had me worried. My husband was thrilled because he is always cold, but I am always warm. The first night he did not need an extra blanket on his side and I started the night with just the sheet over me. In the middle of the night I was cold and pulled the comforter over me and I found that it was very comfortable and not too hot. Both of us are very happy with this comforter. I highly recommend it. No more dual control electric blankets for us.

Where to start? There's so much good to say about this comforter insert. The size options, of course! There's a huge array of sizes available, and I opted for the OVERSIZED KING (120" x 98") which is unique and appreciated--- when it comes to a down comforter, "go big or go home" applies, because of how the thermal regulation dynamics work. A proper down comforter of this sort will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so long as you use it right, and the bigger the better for isolating a thermal space beneath. (To "properly use" a down comforter INSERT, you need to recognize that this is NOT a comforter-- it is an insert. This is an inner layer-- you need to buy a DUVET COVER to go around it. Many Americans don't seem to have familiarity with duvets and inserts. A duvet cover is like a pillowcase for this down insert. When choosing your duvet cover, select something from a natural and breathable fiber, such as COTTON, LINEN, RAYON or VISCOSE.) Next up: the fabric "shell" of this insert is pretty nice, but nothing to write home about. They claim it is 800 TC cotton blend, meaning it is just a regular cotton-poly blend material-- I would prefer pure cotton (for airflow, breathability, thermal regulation) but this is fine. It is soft but that doesn't matter, because you're never going to be in contact with the shell, since it is an insert and you of course know better than to use an insert like a whole comforter. Duvet covers are the outer fabric and that's where you're going to have skin contact. Level of fill, level of fluff: I don't trust "lightweight" down items to be filled adequately, so I ordered the "medium" one. It arrives shrink-wrapped and vacuum sealed--- it goes through VERY minimal expansion on opening up the plastic. (Side note: VERY light chemical/factory smell on opening, which was unusual. Not overwhelming, but definitely present. Give it a few days to off-gas.) I spread the whole thing out on the bed, gave it a VERY LIGHT SPRITZ with water (just a misting) and then tossed it into the dryer for a light tumble to fluff. This worked fine for expanding the compressed fill--- and brought the thing to life. It is September, but my room doesn't have any centralized climate control-- it remains 77 F to 80 F all night long, which is miserable. I paired this down insert with a high-quality cotton sheet, a cooling viscose duvet cover, and bam, SLEEP LIKE A PRO. I'm waking up rested, and regulated--- not sweating, not overheating, not cold, not kicking and fidgeting all night to try and regulate my temp. The goose down does exactly what it is supposed to. Grade-A for me.

This is an amazing lightweight comforter! I ordered the oversized King for my California King bed, and it fits perfectly this summer. It’s extremely attractive and adds a touch of elegance to my bedroom decor. I love wrapping myself in it for a cozy daytime nap, and it’s equally comfortable for a good night's sleep thanks to the airy, thin material. The stitching around the edges and along the top and bottom is well-defined and high quality. I haven't noticed any loose threads, which speaks to the excellent craftsmanship.

This is definitely a 5-star Duvet insert. I love that it is heavy duty and by no means it is cheaply made or poorly put together. The stitching is solid and tight, and the weightiness of the insert is medium, which for me, is good for all the seasons. It fluffs out easily by shaking, but can also be put in the dryer for fluffing. I didn't find the smell to be strong upon first opening the packaging, but it does recommend allowing air out time should there be a smell. Overall, an excellent quality duvet that should last a long time.
