I live in a 400sq ft apartment and this works great for the space. As a bed its very firm so if you like a soft mattress I definitely wouldn't recommend this as a sleeper. But as a seat its not to firm not to soft.

This folding sofa bed is exactly what I needed for our small zen/makeup room. When it arrived it was shrink-wrapped to the max. I was sure it would take a couple days to fluff-up to full size and be full of wrinkles. I was so wrong on both thoughts. The kitchen photo was literally a minute after opening it. Be careful while removing the multiple layers of plastic that shrink wrap it. Besides that, it was so easy, it instantly became full size and had no wrinkles. Another concern was that in couch and lounge modes the back wouldn’t be stable unless it was fully against a wall. In our situation it needed to be caddy corner. In couch mode it zippers onto the back and is super sturdy. No need for a wall. In lounge mode, it has a little flex but still is sturdier than I expected. The large corduroy grey fabric is exactly how it looks in the listing photos. It is super soft. It instantly became 8 inches thick and the memory foam is firm but comfortable. You don’t fall into it at all like some memory foams do. The room is 10x11 and we had to strategically plan how to make the most of it. Previously it was a storage room and stored in there was a 65” TV. It was never part of the initial plan to keep it there, but we left it on its mobile stand against a wall while the rest of the project continued. While building the vanity desks, we popped on the TV and were amazed how much better quality it looked in a tiny room, compared to a larger living room. It is 4k but you loose the clarity at a distance. We also loved how it made the TV watching experience that much better, being a large TV in a tiny room. It was like being at the movies. So we changed plans and decided to keep it. This room that’s only furniture was supposed to be two desk with large lighted vanity mirrors, and a small bookcase, now has a XL TV. So, we will need something to sit on to watch said TV. Not much is going to fit that will sit two. That’s when the idea of a small folding couch came to mind and the hunt started. I’m so glad I picked this one! It is sturdy, excellent quality and super soft. It’s a great value for a loveseat, lounger and bed all in one. I love that it is firm and comfortable to be a full sized guest bed if ever needed and our guest room is occupied. Note: since the room is so small I had to do zoomed out (.5) photos, so it makes the sofa look smaller. The initial photo in the kitchen was full sized (not zoomed out). ... show more

This is a pretty cool couch/ mattress and my kids love it. However, it’s already coming apart at the seams after one week. I wouldn’t expect a nearly $200 product to only last one week. I’m disappointed.
